Chapter 12

Seokjin dressed himself in a brand new white chef uniform prepared especially for Friday. Couple of days earlier he nearly got a heart attack when Jung Hoseok visited his restaurant and asked to make some of his best meals for him. The model was looking for a chef for his fiance's birthday and came to check Jin's skills after hearing nothing but praises about him. Seokjin later found out that Jimin was the one who recommended him to the celebrity.

Of course it was my Minnie. Who else would care enough to mention me to someone like Jung Hoseok?

Jin decided to use the given chance up to maximum. He served the model his most delicious dishes and easily won his heart. As they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and Jin was perfectly well aware of that.

"Mmmmmh, this is the best Bibimbap I've ever eaten, Seokjin-shi." Hoseok couldn't help but hum at the way the food melted in his mouth. He tried every dish that Seokjin prepared for him starting from everyone's favorite kimchi and ending with sweet tteok rice cake. By the time he finished munching food, Hoseok could barely move. "You know that I have a fashion show in few hours?" He whined as he gently caressed his tummy stuffed with variety of meals.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I had no idea." Seokjin said, awkwardly rubbing back of his neck.

"It's okay, but if my modeling career ends today, I'll blame you."

Jin nearly chocked on his saliva. W-what?

Before Jin's panic mode turned on, Hoseok burst out laughing. "I was just joking, but you should have seen your face."

Seokjin was close to snapping at him, but somehow restrained himself. Think about your future, think about your future, think about your....

"Jimin was right about you, Kim Seokjin. You're really great chef. What do you think about serving our guests with your wonderful dishes this Friday?"

That was how Seokjin ended spending next two days in the kitchen to prepare the biggest feast in his life. Hoseok sent him menu and asked to make enough food for about 150 people. After hard work of Jin and his team, he managed to do everything by Friday. Since he was supposed to be in dining area the whole evening to make sure the plates were always filled with food, Jimin bought him a new uniform as a present.

Jin didn't know how to thank the younger for his selfless help. Everything Jimin did meant so much to Seokjin. He was determined to repay him in some way in the future, he definitely wasn't going to forget the younger's kindness.

"Alright Jin, you can do this! Just smile and try to make new clients." The male encouraged his reflection in the mirror before heading to the celebration hall where the event was held. He arrived earlier than majority of guests and helped the staff to set everything for banquet. He was beyond thrilled for upcoming evening. It was his real chance to make name among the famous and hella rich people attending event. Of course, Jin knew that one banquet wouldn't change much, but he had hope that it would improve his current situation.

"Hyung!" Jimin finally found time to approach his friend around an hour later after the event had started. Jin couldn't help but notice how the male was nearly glued to Hoseok all the time. He found it somewhat strange, but decided not to dwell on it. It didn't surprise him that Hoseok was so drawn to Jimin. The boy really had charms that could turn heads. He had always been like this, since childhood. Jimin could wrap anyone around his little fingers and stay absolutely oblivion to it.

"Hi Jimin! Are you having fun?"

"Yes! It's a little bit more boring than I thought, but I'm still enjoying myself. I've met so many celebrities, it's crazy!"
