More to Come

Alright, book two finished.

This book will be followed by another Teen Titans concentric one, in the next book we'll see the fallout of the Patsie operations, the missing date between Supergirl and Lena Luthor and the Titan's first encounter with the main enemy for the first arc of stories.

Adter book three there may be a speciality book. I don't know how long book three will take but either during it's writing, or afterwards there will be a Starfire Heavy episode that will serve to explain what is going on with this Starfire and sync her up to the cannon.

You'll notice that I speak about these stories as Episodes. In the closing commentaries of each episode I plan to elaborate on why this is basically a TV-Serial pitch. I'll go over details, it'll probably never be picked up but the short form narratives and the way we cut around is based on desicions for the type of show I'd like to see on TV.

One with a good life/work balance of the characters, blending teen drama with hero stories and all the gay I can squeeze in. Of course the gay is probably why this would never become a tv show, but a girl can dream.

About this World

Okay, so last time I said this is an old world. That in my restrictions I was ruling out certain characters are being kids, and that I've also inherited certain characters from Richard Roberts' works.

This world is old, this is because Robert's world in old. It is also distinctly not a DC comics franchise. I have as a result taken liberties with some of his characters, but then I also took liberties with DC's characters. Some sacrifices had to be made.

Weirdly enough, not as many as one would think. Where Richard Roberts is concerned, I had the author's blessings on this project. While Roberts has said he will write other stories in his version of this world, he is done with the Inscrutable Machine (The main element I pulled across) and has no intent of writing more about those characters. Each of the initial five books was a complete piece that was intended to be readable stand-alone. And each one looked at a different element in the comics/action genre.

I have however been put in an interesting situation as I openly discussed how I intended to go about this project with the writer on his Twitter. As such I am hoping the soft edges where the two continuities smashed together have blurred naturally.

I would love to hear input and feedback on how clunky these elements are. Until then I hope to see you next time on "Teen Titans in the Field"
