Albedo disliked certain holidays.

From Valentine's to Halloween, the male just didn't seem to have a liking towards these sorts of events that others celebrate when the calendar hits the date. Let's just say he just didn't get the benefit of it. However, since the cafe he works at is focused on 'fitting the aesthetic,' he had no choice but to oblige in creating decorations and such since the cafe manager keeps loud mouthing to their workers about apparently keeping the business low and not knowing how to attract the customers.

Albedo didn't nor did he ever care. He was just your average introverted college student working at a part-time job to make money in order to provide himself in his dorm room and pay off to whatever items he needed in projects and such. Like a normal straight-A student would, Albedo studies hard, trying to divide his time for work hours and classes, even time for naps—he had it all on his time chart. And with all his hard work, all of his assignments return with a 100% score.

Although, even if this was a daily schedule for him to score 100 every year, month, or day that passes, Albedo...feels nothing at all. Even with all his friends complimenting his works, he would shrug it off, saying it was nothing and that he just studied for it to be it that way. Aether would say the only time he'll see Albedo smile was when he was walking his little sister Klee home from elementary. Despite all of that, Albedo was just...Albedo.

His parents were...not strict on him, however Albedo was strict with himself to become a child he wants his parents to expect. And so he did just that. He did his own chores at an early age in elementary, he already knew how to count and learned the alphabet at age 3, and in high school he had a job which was a barista at the current cafe he worked at till college.

But, even with his boring personality, everyone agrees on one thing when they hear the name 'Albedo' on his college building. They would all agree for him to be 'good looking.' A lot of girls and boys would often send him gifts, love letters, and unexpected confessions out of nowhere when Albedo heads off to class. He wouldn't say he's irritated by it, after all, he knows feelings have to be let out somehow but the thing is...this happens almost every week. He was getting a little tired of being called Mr. Popular by the higher-ups.

He's sick and tired of this routine of his all and all over again, running like he was a hamster on a wheel that never ends no matter how many times he runs. He was someone you would find boring, a passing high-grade student in both chemistry and science. And a simple barista from a small cafe.

In the cafe he works at, is also where his two friends Aether and Sucrose would work at. The only two people he can gladly call his friends despite being so popular around the campus. He swore to always have their backs and—well, not always but when they really needed it for sure.

Like right now.

"What?!"

"Please, Albedo, I'm really sorry but Aether has a high fever right now and I'm afraid he can't make it to his shift today," the tone in Lumine's voice seems frantic, and a little serious about her twin brother's condition. "It's just for now I promise!"

"Huh? Well—uh, why'd you ask Sucrose or Amber instead? I'm just headed off to buy materials for my project and—

"Amber and Sucrose both have classes right now and they'll be late if they decide to take over. Plus, I already asked them earlier and they both told me they can't soo..."
