Kaeya wasn't lying when he said he'd see Albedo everyday.

After the last photoshoot before Albedo decided to focus first on his exams, he'll see his photographer walk in everyday during his work hours at the cafe he works at. It wasn't strange, after all this was a daily thing now to him and his co-workers.

He even memorized Kaeya's orders in arrangement, which was coffee and switch to switch side meals or desserts. Coffee, was always his choice no exceptional, even Mona and Eula already knows what he wants to have for a drink whenever he walks in.

One time Eula whispers to Albedo, "This guy friend of yours seems to be ordering coffee everyday, isn't that bad for him or...?" To which he replied he often texts him that too much caffeine may affect his health but Kaeya says that he's used to it and he doesn't really drink coffee everyday.

There were times when Albedo would go on break, he would enter his lunch area and text Kaeya even though he was only in the cafe, typing in his laptop like he had another job other than photography. "Is it Kaeya you're texting?" Aether questions. Albedo nods, eyes still sticking on his phone as he typed back a message. "But he's only outside, how about you go talk to him there, instead?"

"Don't wanna. Besides, I'm enjoying my break right now if you can't notice."

He just won't admit that he was lazy.

This happens almost every week when September rolls, when the cafe would close, that's when Albedo would see him departure off after a long day of chatting with him regarding about the next and previous photoshoots they've taken.

Amber had a small dislike towards Kaeya since she thinks he's wasting space for the other customers waiting to be seated while he stays there for almost the whole day. "What in the world is he even typing on his laptop?!" He hears Amber complain to Eula once—who smiles at her, "Just leave him be. I'm sure Albedo is only the one who can talk to him about it."

"I don't know everything about him, Eula."

"Still, who else is more close to him more than anyone else here in this cafe, Albedo?" she was not wrong. Because of him, everyone seems to know Kaeya who slouches around in the same table everyday, waiting for Albedo to approach him and have a chat, ask how his studies were going and so on.

As much as Albedo was uninterested with his topics from time to time, he loved looking at the photos Kaeya took of him during his Saturdays.

"I spy with my own little eyes, something that has a spark between."

Everyone would answer, "Albedo with that man over there."

Today, was unlike any other day. Friday, September 27, this time, Noelle was bed ridden sick due to the heavy rain pouring, she accidentally stayed under the rain for too long based on what Eula said—so, the manager landed the keys to the hands of Albedo. It was his day to close the cafe. Because Noelle was the most responsible one out of all other than Amber, she was always the one who closes the cafe at closing hours. Also was last year's title 'employee of the month.' Albedo has respects for the girl.

By 8:46pm, Amber and Eula both headed off for the night, leaving Albedo left to clean the counters and tables around the now dead silent cafe. He didn't mind actually if they left early, in fact—he quite liked it, since being alone was sort of his forte. As he finished mopping the floor, the male quickly looked around to see if anyone else was inside other than him. The cost was clear. Slowly, Albedo dragged his phone out of his pocket and dug through his music playlist on Spotify. The first thing his eyes spot on was The Platters. His favorite..

Shuffling the playlist, Albedo hummed along with the tune as the heavy rain continued pouring down in the heavens, wetting the window panes from left to right—darkening skies and cold temperature. Ah, how he just adored it. If only he could spend the last moments on his Earth like this...he would already be so happy.
