"Kriff Fives would you please stop pacing already!" Admonished Hevy. "Your making me dizzy!"

The ARC trooper heaved a tired sigh as he plopped himself down next to his twin. "Sorry vod, I'm a bit nervous."

"Relax Fives," spoke Echo reassuringly. "Shaak is one of the toughest Jedi in history plus she's got Kix tending to her and he's the best in the business."

At that moment their conversation was interrupted by Anikan Skywalker coming in through the waiting rooms doors. "At ease men!" He ordered when all the former domino troopers moved to stand at attention. Even though they had long since adjusted to civilian life, it was needless to say that some old habits were hard to break. "Ahsoka called and informed me that Shaak went into labour."

Slumping back into his seat Fives heaved a tired sigh. "That's right gen— I mean Anikan! The commander— I mean Ahsoka is with her now alongside Kix."

"And the reason Snips is in there instead of you is because?"

"Fives kept driving the doctors up the walls because he wanted to make they were doing everything they could to help Shaak and his kids."

Pulling up a chair across from to soon-to- be-father, Anikan say down and stared at Fives with sympathetic eyes. "Listen Fives as someone whose been in the exact same spot as you are now I totally understand the stress and fears running through your head right now."

This coaxed a chuckle from the former ARC as he recalled the memory of when the Skywalker twins were born. "To this day I will never forget Obi Wan threatening to knock you using ie the force into a medical induced sleep because you kept fretting over Padmé's condition as she was trying to deliver the twins."

Cutup snorted. "Or how when the doctors finally allowed you inside the delivery room Padmé had squeezed your prosthetic hand so hard that she completely crushed the darn thing!"

Wincing slightly Anikan rubbed his mechanical hand as he recalled the painful burning sensation crumpled metal twisted with broken wires. "Yea, it took me weeks to repair that hand! Which during that time I had to learn how to change stinky diapers with one hand!" A soft fondness shone in his eyes. "Still it was all worth if when I got to hold Luke and Leia in my arms the first time."

"How are the little wimp rats doing Anikan?" Asked Hevy.

"They're doing great. Padmé's family is coming over tomorrow for a visit, her parents are especially eager to meet their new grandchildren."

"Have you told them the time Luke harnessed his force wielding abilities at Fives and Shaak's wedding?" Asked Droidbait.

"Yep; they laughed about it for ten minutes straight!"

"So did everyone else!" Remarked Fives starting to feel his previous anxiety slipping away. "Including me and Shaak!"

"The most brilliant part for me was after little Luke caught the flowers, you chased Hardcase all around the Shili when he declared that the young Skywalker lad would be the next one to get married." Spoke Cutup his Irish brogue alighting in his words as he smiled fondly at the aforementioned memory.

"Hey my babies can live up to be 40 and I'd still refuse any suitors that come there way!"

"With some of that aggressive negotiation your always famous for?" Asked Echo quirking an eyebrow in amusement.
