Group headcannon: they catch you singing

Sergeant O'Niner

• his initial thought was that one of his men had turned on the holo radio to listen to the music channel.

• however upon listening very carefully to the actual voice did he begin to realize that the person singing sounded familiar to him.

• curious he went off to investigate and followed the echo of the voice around the base until his search led him to your office. Poking his head inside the silver fox sergeant's mouth dropped open in surprise when he discovered that you were the one who was doing all the singing!

• while the two of you had dated for a considerable length of time, this was the very first time O'Niner had ever heard you singing. 'Maker I never knew she could sing so beautifully!'

• since your still to occupied in your workload to notice his presence, O'Niner allows himself to actually kick back and relax as he listens to the soothing melody of your voice.

• the war hardened sergeant even cracks a rare smile as he feels all the stress and tension drain from his mind.

• it wasn't until you reached the climatic point of the song did you finally notice that you've gained an audience and instantly stopped singing causing awkward silence to fill the room.

• "please don't stop on my account mesh'la. I very much enjoy your singing."

• after a bit of coaxing, you placed your now finished workpiece aside and resumed singing again this time a softer, gentler melody easing O'Niner back into a state of serenity.

• the rest of the day passed by in this idle manner. You essentially serenading your boyfriend and O'Niner basking in this rare precious moment he gets to spend with you. A moment he'll treasure forever.

Nub

• didn't mean to walk in on you honestly.

•  he'd only came to relief you from your turn on the night shift, but instead accidentally discovered your phenomenal singing.

• hesitates on whether or not to speak up. On one hand he doesn't want to startle you while on the other hand Nub enjoys seeing the way your eyes sparkle in delight as you sang.

• the decision ends up being made for him when you unexpectedly pause and snap your head around to see him standing there gaping with his mouth wide open.

• "Oh Nub! I'm sorry was I being too loud?"

• "no, no your perfect! Be to honest I had no idea you could sing so well."

• "Oh why thank you. I actually used to be part of the local church choir in my hometown, although that was a very long time ago so I have grown a bit rusty since then."

• "a bit rusty?!?! Are you kidding me, mesh'la when you sang it was like diamonds came rolling out of your mouth!" Feeling shy he then asks. "Listen I know your shift is over, but would you mind keeping company for a little while longer? Maybe sing one more song for me?"
