Chapter 5: Stories & Bad News

Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter and boy am I excited for this one. I'm so glad that all of you enjoyed the previous one and give me some ideas and thoughts. I still plan on giving Cortana the Betty Droid for her to have as an actual physical body, but I also plan on mixing it with the Proxy Droid's ability to shapeshift into any type of person for Revolt679. I thank you all for giving me your ideas on what to add to this story as well as spelling errors. Also, I have noticed that some people and I'm not gonna say who, but have asked me or suggested to me that I should bring the empire in at the end of the story.

No, this is a request to all of you who read the story, and I would like for you all to respect my decision for it. I will not be bringing the empire into the story, or order 66. I just don't like the empire and I don't like order 66. But for all you Darth Vader fans out there, Darth Vader will appear in the story. However, like I said before, Anakin will not turn to the dark side in the story. So I'm requesting nicely to all of you to not ask me about Order 66 or the empire coming into this story, because they won't be coming into this story. So can you all please stop asking me about Order 66 or the empire coming into this story because it's not going to happen.

Anyway, aside from that request, I am happy that all of you guys are enjoying this story, also I have been looking at characters that should go well with this story. Also for all of you curious about some of the love interests in this story will include Master Chief and Bo-Katan, Noble 6 and Chuchi Ryo, and finally Carter and Kat. These are the love interests I am showing you now and I will show you future love interests later. Also as for a love interest for Ahsoka, well lets just say I have a very special surprise in store for her. But enough already about all of this future fanfiction talk, let's get cracking onto the story shall we?:)

Onboard the Resolute, the pride and joy of the Hero with no fear, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, the Master Chief, Cortana, and the Arbiter explained everything they could from beginning, middle, and end. They then explained about the discovery of the Halo installations and their true purpose, the flood, the Grave Mind, learning the truth about the Prophets and their lies, humanity allying itself with the elites, and the final battle on the Ark that led them to being in this galaxy. As they listened, Noble team showed various emotions of shock, interest and relief. As Noble Team listened, they let out sighs of relief when they learned that Chief found and destroyed Installation 04 as well as Installation 08, but were shocked to learn about humanity allying itself with the elites. After hearing what had happened after they died, they all were silent for a moment or two before Carter said to himself "That's a lot to take in, but it also makes perfect sense". "Well, whether it makes perfect sense or not, I still can't believe we allied ourselves with those damn split-lipped bastards". Emile said with a bit of venom in his voice, only to turn to the Arbiter and give him an apologetic look as he said to him "No offense to you, or your people Arbiter". The Arbiter nodded in understanding as he said to him "Your anger is justifiable spartan, I take no offense".

As they talked, Kat decided to address the elephant in the room. "Look, I think it's time we addressed the question of how we even came back to life in the first place". The group looked at each other realizing that she was right, as they started to discuss on what was the cause of their coming back to life. "It can't have been a new spartan ability, if it was, then we would have known about it when they explained about our abilities after the augmentation process". Jorge stated to them. "Maybe Dr. Halsey had something to do with it, knowing her, I wouldn't put it past her". Said Emile with a bit of contempt in his voice. At hearing this, John momentarily felt a twinge of hurt at hearing that from the words of one of his fellow spartans. He knew that Emile and Halsey had a bitter sweet relationship between each other, but he also knew that Emile still cared for Halsey to a point and was still one of the spartans like himself that would be the only civilian that they would take orders from her. John shook his head as he said to them "I don't think so, even if we didn't know about it, then Cortana or Dot would have known about it".
