Halo wars

Chapter 1: arrival

Ringing. A loud, ear piercing ringing was the first thing that the Master Chief felt when he woke up in what looked like a type of ally way. "Chief are you alright"? Cortana asked threw his coms. "I'm okay, just a little banged up". He told her as he stood rubbing his helm. "Spartan"! Called out a familiar voice. Turning around Chief saw Arbiter coming over to him "Are you alright"? He asked Chief. "I'm alright but the question is where are and how did we get from being on the forward of the dawn to here"? Before Arbiter could answer they all heard the sound of laughter coming from the end of the alley way. They both spotted kids running by, chasing after something that looked like a ball.

"They all sounded friendly enough". Cortana commented. "Do you think we teleported to one of the last remaining human colonies"? "I don't know"? Chief replied to her. "Might as well find out". When the two of them (three if you count Cortana) exited the alleyway what they saw made them stop dead in their tracks. What they saw was probably one of the most architecturally beautiful places they had seen. What really stood out from the people were the extraterrestrials that they saw. They weren't like the covenant aliens and for one thing that Chief, Arbiter, and Cortana noticed was that some of them had long faces with fin-like ears. "Those guys over there must definitely be some form of military". Cortana commented as she, Chief and Arbiter saw a bunch of white armored soldiers standing around near a giant dome shaped building.

"I guess we should go talk to them to find out where we are". Chief suggested to Arbiter. He nodded as they both started walking towards the white armored soldiers. While they walked towards the white armored soldiers some people had now started to take a moment to look over at the Master Chief and Arbiter with a mixture of curiosity and fear that were apparent on their faces. Curiosity because they had never seen anything like the Arbiter and the Chief, and fear because Chief looked like a sepratist battle droid. It wasn't until then that at long last the white armored soldiers who had been standing near the giant dome shaped building noticed the two unusually garbed individuals and tensed up with what looked like a sepratist battle droid.

"Uh... Any idea who or what those guys are"? Asked one of the armored soldiers closest to them in their comm link. "No idea" The Second one near him spoke up with a tense shrug of his shoulders. "They Seps"? "That droid next to the weird looking tall guy in the armor looks like one". Said the first soldier. "Commander Rem, any idea what we should do here? They do look kinda threatening."Commander Rem who was much easier to distinguish amongst the six armored soldiers as out of all of them he had his helmet and shoulder pads accented with red markings.

"Standby boys, I'll get this all sorted out soon enough". Commander Rem replied to his men as he went to meet the Master Chief and the Arbiter. As Commander Rem approached the Master Chief and the Arbiter he noticed that they both carried what looked like different weapons. Arbiter carried what looked like a weird version of a lightsaber while the Master Chief carried what looked like a rifle slug thrower. "Sir may I ask who you are and what your droid identification number is"? Commander Rem asked them. Both the Arbiter and the Master Chief looked at each other clearly offended at what Commander Rem had said about Chief being assumed as a droid.

"Chief, I think you should remove your helmet to show Commander Rem that you aren't a droid". Cortana suggested to which John mentally nodded. As John proceeded to remove his helmet while Commander Rem along with some of the people and his men just stared in shock at the giant green armored being in front of them who was actually a human and not droid, they were even more shocked because they had never expected a person to be at least seven foot tall with such bulky green armor. "I am Petty Officer Master Chief Serra Spartan 117 of the U.N.S.C and my companion next to me is the Arbiter leader of the sangheili". John said as he saluted to Commander Rem. Commander Rem saluted though he didn't know what Master Chief or Arbiter meant but he could tell that they were definitely important titles and that they had authority.
