Febuary 7/1912
The day was normal, the time was 12pm, me and Sarah were discussing some minor crimes, advertisements and major events. I wore my casual wear along with the red ribbon on my hair. I sighed "This is more boring then I thought!" Sarah couldn't say anything from all the work we had to do. When we finished all we had to do, Sarah invited me for dinner. Along with other agents of the IPA from different bases. Most likely Robert Millhouse and Thomas Greeth. I met them before in my previous missions and they are nice people honestly.
I got ready to meet up with Sarah in the lobby so we can go out and eat. I heard footsteps heading my way, I thought they were Sarah, but it was instead, Thomas Greeth. He is a medium height man who is from the Spanish base in Spain in the city: Barcelona. He had curly brown hair and brown eyes along with light, tan skin. He called out to me "Miss Benevin!" he held a huge smile on his face. I smiled back to him as he headed my way. We started to talk about what has been going on with our mission. "Where's Mr Millhouse?" I asked him confused, he sighed "Sadly he can't join us, work is dragging him down both here and the IPA". We then talked about the status of the mission. "Sarah told me everything you and Lucas talked about" I felt as if I didn't get everything from Lucas and I was determined to find out more from him. "I might try again with him, I could get more out information" while we talked. I saw Johnathon approach me with a group of guys who seems to be his friend. He saw me and grinned, he looked to back having fun with the group. "Oh, Sarah told me you were an assistant" Thomas saw Johnathon and whispered "Is that him". I nodded sadly, he felt how I feel and pat my shoulder. "It's fine, after this you might not get to see him again" I really hoped so, I didn't want to see him and seductive, handsome face again. He left his group and approached me laughing about something. "Johnny! Let's get a drink some time and catch up!" hearing this set off something in my head. I asked him "Did you know them?" he laughed "They used to be my neighbours, friends". He put his arm around my shoulder, while Thomas watched awkwardly, Johnathon changed his expression when he saw Thomas. "Who might you be?" this caught him off guard "Hello sir, Mr Greeth, I'm on the assignment with you on Miss Miller" he tried to make the conversation mutual. But Johnathon wasn't having it, which just made the situation more awkward. I laughed and got out of his arms grasp. "I'm just waiting for Miss Harwood so-" "Maya, I see you and Thomas finally found each other" Sarah came down from the flight of stairs. "Sorry, someone had to use the elevator before me, so the stairs were my only option" she laughed. Seeing my chance I latched onto her arm, she saw my desperation to get out of the situation and fortunately decided to help me "Oh, Maya, let's go, we're going to have dinner, and hey we might run into some valuable cases in the meantime". She and I chuckled and we headed out without the boys, she signalled for Thomas to come and in a daze of confusion of what happened, he followed after us. "Oh, sounds nice, can I come?" Johnathon asked, we stopped for a moment and Sarah said "I'm sorry Mr Taylor, but this is for special agents, not newbies, sorry sir" she said. I let out a sigh of relief, but I can feel his eyes on me, I knew he wanted to play my feelings anyway, so I won't let it work, will it?
We all started to walk around the busy streets of London where we chose to eat at a cafe. We sat near the window, so we had a clear view of the streets. All of a sudden, Johnathon appeared and chose to sit next to me and I played along to try show him that he wouldn't intimidate me. I talked to Sarah about the usual stuff, like family and wellbeing as we waited for our food. Johnathon tried to get close but I politely refused him. I looked to the window to clear my head, until I saw a familiar face in the crowd. Olive skin and poofy black hair. It was Lucas, I needed to get more out of him for the IPA. I excused myself from the group and headed for the streets. Johnathon tried to stop me but Sarah and Thomas stopped him. I followed Lucas through the busy crowd, it was hard but then I saw him enter a jewellery store called Dans Diamond mine. The store was filled with girls starring at the glass of diamond rings, earrings and necklaces filled with beauty and shine. Of course I took a peak of the jewels before spying on Lucas. I saw him looking at a necklace with a blue diamond and silver chain. It was really a beauty, even I couldn't help but stare at it, its image was almost an angel. He seemed to smile at it widely and looked into his wallet. Before he left, I stopped him in his tracks. When he saw me he started to panic. To avoid a scene, I grabbed his wrist and dragged him into an alley way. "Please no! I really don't know anything else, I swear!" he pleaded me to leave him alone. "I'm sorry, but you're one of the only leads we currently have, so until we have more leads, I'll follow you" I explained to him, Lucas seemed to be stressed. I calmed him down "It's going to be fine, once we find other leads on Lisa Miller, we'll leave you alone" I tried my best to comfort him. He then said "Lisa was quiet, despite what people think, we're not friends, we're just neighbours, people only think we're friends because we live next to each other" he explained to me with honesty. I kind of felt sorry for him, but I had to try and keep the mission in mind. Find the 40 thieves, if they are there... "I'm sorry for the disturbance, thanks for your information" I thanked him and was about to leave until he stopped me. "Um... Is it okay for us to meet up? Once in a while?" his face grew a bright pink. I accepted his request and we left the alley. I decided to get into conversation with him to try and get closer and get more info about Lisa Miller. "Why were you in Dans Diamond rings?" he explained about how his sister who managed to get a ticket to the titanic with her husband and children. I remembered the news my mother sent me, she was lucky enough to get a ticket.
We continued to talk about our lives, it was fun and I learned more about him. He played piano and his favourite food was apple pie. His family was from Spain and they moved to England for family stuff. "I heard a lot about Spain, is it nice?" "Oh, its lovely, it might not be perfect, but I find it home, my family was from Barcelona, the main city" he reached into his pocket to bring out something. In his hands were photos of Spain, about 2. On the photos, laid a picture of the town square of Barcelona. Well I have been to Barcelona Spain before but never casually. It was a different to London, in one of the photo stood a family, I made it out to be a father, a mother with three boys and one girl. I pointed to one of the sons with poofy hair like Lucases and asked in my kindest manner "Is that you?". He nodded "I took this with my family when I was 9, my hair was so out of control, my mother gave up trying to put it down". He chuckled in joy thinking of his family. This reminded me of my own family and I smiled.
