Chapter 30

"Don't you think it's time to go home?" I asked Esther who was super drunk but didn't seem on planing to stop.

"It's only 3am, are you tired?" She screamed at me trough the loud music.

"No, but I think you should switch to water" I said and took away the shot she was holding in her hand and was about to drink.

"I'm feeling amazing" she said and put her hands in the air for a split second and rushed into the crowd.

I emptied the shot glass I had taken from her and went to look where she was. I had a few drinks myself and felt a little tipsy but I was still in the right mind to understand everything.

I pushed trough crowd trying to look for Esther.

"Hey baby" a man had gripped on my hips and held me so that I wouldn't be able to move forward. He was looking me up and down. He had this smirk on him and I could feel him undressing me in my mind.

"Where are you rushing?" He asked me as I tried to get out of his grip.

"Let go of me!" I demanded but he didn't seem to care too much.

A group of girls had noticed us and came to my rescue. They pulled me out of the man's arms and shouted in his face to leave.

"Whatever, you're ugly anyway" he said looking at me and pulled on the strap of my dress breaking it off and then walking away.

The girls covered me as I tried to repair my strap but soon enough I knew it wouldn't work so I just held it.

"Thank you all" I said to them after everything and went to look for Esther.

I looked around and noticed her by the bar ordering shots again.

"Come on, we're leaving" I said to her but she didn't seem happy.

"Give me your phone" I said and held out my hand for her and she furrowed her brows but placed her phone in my hands.

I turned the phone screen towards her face to get her Face ID and got in her phone. I called her husband and asked him to come get her as I wasn't going to be able to get her to go home.

"What happened to you?" She asked me when I gave back her phone and she looked at my broken dress.

"Some idiot broke the strap" I said and still tried to fix it but with no luck.

"Where is he?" She said after taking a sip from her drink looking all mad and ready to fight.

"He left, it's okay" I said and sat her back down so she doesn't wander off somewhere.

I took away her drink and got some water for her and made her drink it while I waited for Nicolas to show up and take her home.

"Nicolas!" She screamed and jumped up running to her husband who had come in after her and seemed a little worried.

"Lucky what are you doing?" He said to her and brushed away the hair from her face as she hugged him.

I paid for our drink at the bar and then turned to go back to the love birds.

"Thanks for looking after her" Nicolas said as we made our way out of the club.

"Of course, she's my friend" I said and Esther wrapped her arm around my neck and pulled me into a hug.

"Come on, we'll take you home" Nicolas said.

"No, it's okay, I can get a driver to drive me" I said.

"Renzo would kill me if I left you here all alone" he said and I knew that I probably didn't have a choice.
