One year later

Renzo's POV:

"Are you going to France next month for that Romano wedding?" My sister asked me while holding her youngest child in her lap while he played with some of my pens she had given him.

"Yeah, we've been best friends for years not just business partners" I replied.

"Is Stephanie going with you?" She then asked me.

"Yeah probably, and Blair asked if you and Nicolas could come too" I said to my sister mentioning my friends fiancé that had made good friends with my sister the last time they came to visit.

"I'll talk to him" she replied and took the pens away from her son and placed them back on my table.

"We have to go see mom and dad" she said packing up all the things she had taken out of her bag.

"They want to see their grandchildren" she said and rolled her eyes as I know she has to go by their house like four times a week.

"Have fun" I said and only laughed at her annoyance.

"Don't forget the dinner at their house!" She reminded me before opening the door and I only nodded and then she opened the door and Stephanie was just about to come in. They exchanged in the doorway and now Stephanie came in.

"Hi baby" Stephanie said walking in my office over to me and gave me a kiss.

"I missed you" I said and held on to her waist.

"We saw each other this morning" she said an giggled.

"I know" I said and kissed her again.

"Anyway I'm going home, you coming or no?" She then asked and reached for her phone in her purse.

"No I have some more work I need to do" I said and she looked at her phone.

"Okay, see you at home, love you" she said and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"See you at home" I said and watched as she walked out of my office her heels making high pitch noise against my marble floor.

I met Stephanie one year ago at graveyard visiting Elodie's grave. We started talking and eventually started dating. I know, never though I'd be in a relationship. I missed Elodie but I knew she was gone and never coming back so everyone encouraged I move on. Stephanie seemed like the best choice as she was going trough the same thing as I was, her husband died in a car crash two years before we met and she just understood me like no one else.

After couple of months she moved in with me and met my family and everything was going good. My sister didn't really like her but she wasn't the one dating Stephanie.

"I made dinner" Stephanie said when I walked in the kitchen after I had just arrived home.

"Thanks, I don't have much time, I have some work tonight" I said and took a bite from a toast.

"Mafia?" She asked stirring the pot and pouring the soup into bowls.
