Phil's POV.

'Phil!' Dan shouted from his room, waking me up from my deep sleep. Dan never shouts for me anymore I thought. I rolled over and looked at the time.

'Dan, it's really early! Go back to sleep!' I moaned. Bang! A huge clap of thunder filled my ears, the harsh pitter-patter of rain hitting the roof continued as it had for the entire night. So that's why Dan is shouting me. I thought, slightly disappointed.

'PHIL!' Dan screamed, his voice shaking. I clambered out of bed and ran into his room. I inched the door open to see his small curled up figure hiding underneath the blankets, pillows piled on top of his head. He's terrified. 'PHIL!'

'I'm here, it's okay!' I laughed softly, sitting cautiously down next to where he was lying. I hadn't done this in ages and Dan had shown no signs of affection towards me since we'd got home; I was scared he was going to push me away. I slid into his bed and he surprisingly cuddled up into my chest, his fists clenched tightly around his blankets and he pressed them against my bare chest. Hot tears were on his cheeks, his eyes squeezed shut. 'You're such a wimp, Dan.'

'Shut up,' He said, the panic fading from his voice until a new flash of lightening lit up the room, triggering another wave of tears.

'Sssh,' I soothed, stroking his hair as he cried into my chest. There was nothing else I could do while the storm continued to rage on outside apart from hold him close while he sobbed loudly.

After about an hour, the storm stopped and so did Dan's tears. I kissed the top of his head, chuckling. 'Like I said, you're such a wimp, Dan!' He laughed with me this time, drying the tears with the sleeve of his jumper. 'I can't remember the last time there was a thunder storm,' I froze. I remembered exactly the last time that there was a storm. It was the night I had found Dan on the floor half de-

'I remember it,' Dan said sighing. I looked at him expectantly. How the hell could he remember?  'Oh my god!' He sat bolt upright, almost head butting me.

'Dan?'

'But, h-how? It doesn't make sense!' He muttered, resting his head in his hands.

'Maybe it would make sense if you told me,' He leapt out of his bed and began pacing wildly around the room in just his boxers and a jumper- a great combination. 'Dan, just tell me.'

'I remember the last storm, well obviously I remember the storm I remember every storm because I hate storms you know that don't you Ph-'

'Get to the point!'

'Oh, sorry.' He stopped pacing for a second to look at me, then continued. 'You were in the shower. I was reading an email on my computer when the thunder started. I turned around and there was something...some one there... and then it all went black. That was the day I-'

'Ssh.' I said, closing my eyes. I didn't understand what he was on about. 'Promise me you're not fucking around? Because if you are it's not funny!' He shook his head quickly, his eyes soaked with surprise at the unfamiliarity of me cursing. We sat in silence for a bit casting nervous glances at each other every now and again, the only sound being the rain outside. 'Then,' I sighed. ' This is serious.'

Dan couldn't understand why I thought this was a big deal. Which is not surprising really. He's had a big knock to the head so this was bound to happen to him sooner or later. Why did it have to happen now, just when I was starting to get Dan back? One minute he remembers stabbing himself and falling, but then the next minute he remembers someone being behind him? I know which one I believe.

It's a fact. It's started.

Dan is going mad, delusional, and I have no idea how to deal with it anymore.
