#2 Darkstalker Ships

Oh boy.

I really don't like Darksight. And Moonstalker.

That is because Darkstalker is a toxic piece of sh*t.

Ok, ok. Let's do this professionally. Darksight started out fine. I mean, the fact that they knew they were soulmates and that they were going to be in a relationship before they even met was a weird way of starting a ship, but I trusted the process.

They seemed like they were on the same page, they got along (for the most part), and it was pretty sweet. That is, in the beginning.

Darkstalker started being toxic when Clearsight started getting visions where Darkstalker is an evil tyrant. By the way, HUGE red flag, like, lights flashing, sirens wailing, that is not a good sign! PLEASE tell me, that if you ever have a vision of the future where your S/O is evil, don't shrug it off! And especially don't let said S/O talk you out of worrying about it!

Sadly, this is exactly what Clearsight did. We all make mistakes, but I just can't get over how clueless she was in the beginning. And she was absolutely clueless! You thought that Blaze was the concussed sheep? At least she could see trouble when it bit her on the nose!

*sigh* I'm sorry. I really don't like this ship.

AND THE EARRING!! *screams in pillow* THE STUPID STUPID STUPID EARRING!!

Darkstalker's toxic traits don't stop there.

-He lies about staying out of Clearsight's thoughts and about not enchanting Moon's friends.

-He manipulates by telling Clearsight it's not a big deal (it's a big deal)

-He gaslights by giving Clearsight the stupid earring and enchanting Moon's friends.

-And I'd say that patricide counts as well.

What are his redeeming qualities? He's handsome, he's charismatic, he's interesting.... Wait a minute. HE HAD JEWELRY ENCHANTED TO MAKE HIM APPEAR THOSE THINGS TO ALL THE DRAGONS HE MEETS!

When Clearsight gives him the bracelet, Darkstalker says something to the effect of "I knew this could happen, but I wanted to trust you anyway." Which only proves my point. Both of them lied and backstabbed each other and the whole mess was doomed for failure.

Now Moonstalker.

Basically the same points as Darksight, except add a stupidly massive age gap. Now, I said before that I don't like touching this issue, and I don't! But come on. There is more than a two thousand year age gap. However, they both act mature enough that they could date. But two thousand years crosses a line for me.

Can I say something about Moon that I think everyone should think about?

As a fandom, this is terrible.

Moon is the youngest POV (four years old or ten in human years), and is the most shipped character in the series.

These are all ships that people ship! What the heck! (Not that all of these are bad, but just that there are so many).

Btw: I'm thinking about just turning this into a full on WoF rant book, because I didn't have many ideas for it besides WoF.
