"oh you sad sad huh?" Lani, one of the twins, walked in the house and I mugged her.

"nigga you still here?" Liyah walked in behind her.

i made lil jokes and shit about Braylen doing the most while he was staying with me but now I miss him.

i hate being at my apartment by myself, i be at my mama crib more than mines.

"baby, you still here?" my mama walked in the door with some grocery bags and my mouth dropped.

"if yall want me to go back to my house just say that" I stood from the couch and the twins looked at each other.

"go home" they said in unison and my mama just laughed.

"chill on him" mama pointed at them while she passed by to get to the kitchen.

i followed behind her and she passed me a bag, signaling me to help her put it away.

i took the cans out the bag and I could feel her staring at me.

"yes mother?" i asked while putting the cans in the pantry.

"you still haven't told me the reason y'all broke up" she passed me milk to put in the fridge and I side-eyed her.

i feel guilty everyday because all that shit could've been avoided.

he cut me off.

he removed me off his spam page, unfollowed me on his main page. blocked me on facebook.

i'm not blocked on imessage anymore because i text him every other day and the messages are still blue and delivering. 

"just know I messed up" I put all the grocery bags into one bag and put them under the cabinet.

"well being sad and moping around my house not gone make you feel better or get yo man back" she opened up a glass of wine.

"you want some?" she held the bottle up and i nodded.

it was a pink tall bottle that said Throat Goat

"be careful, this shit dangerous" she poured me a glass and I drank some making a face.

"ohhhh thats LIQUA" i held my mouth.

it had a good after taste though, it made me want to keep sipping.

"i'm about to go take a shower, the twins staying over they friend house for the weekend" she did a mini dance and I nodded, sipping from the glass.

"dont drink my shit up, we gone sip when i get out" she walked out the kitchen and I poured me some more in my glass.
