"Ben, you're home" bati ni Papa sakin
"I watched your game, and congratulations sa achievements mo, I'm so proud of you" sabi ni dad
"Now that you're done with your high school, you keep your promise, right?" he asked to me
-Oh... that promise?
"Dad, can't I really just study in Ateneo? napa-mahal na ako doon ehh" I said in which he released a bugtong hininga
-Conyo yarn?
"Ben, alam kong gusto mong tuparin ang pangako mo sa mama mo, and you achieve it, you already studied in Ateneo, don't you want to fulfill my wish too? I just want you study in my alma mater, kahit yun lang naman eh" he said at napabuntong hininga na lang ako
-Well... the struggle kapag only child ka tapos galing Ateneo mama mo tapos galing La Salle ang papa mo, talagang malaking pressure yun sakin, lalo na't mas gusto ko talaga ang Ateneo, pero wala na akong magagawa eh, pinangako ko kay Dad na sa La Salle ako mag-aaral, so I have no choice but to fulfill his wish
"Alright, dad, if that will make you happy" I said and he smiled
"Salamat, anak, labis ang tuwa ko ngayon" he said saka niya ako hinila ara yakapin ko siya
"Alright, take a rest, alam kong pagod ka, atsaka may klase ka pa bukas" paalala making me laugh
"Opo, may tatapusin pa akong assignment, bye dad" I bid my goodbye as I went upstair
