So it's been a week and he has just been staring at me most of the time. I mean I know I'm supposed to be this big scary snake familiar but I'm nothing but a small snake who doesn't know what the heck I'm doing!

I have a theory to get bigger though. I learn magic. I know it sounds awful and unreasonable. Not to mention that it sounds so clique. These Clique things usually work though. Yeah that's the plan learn magic then get big and then ummmmm make that kid get me oranges! :D

Yes oranges! I will carry that passion for my favorite food like I carry this dread from having to serve this guy. Wait new idea instead of ignoring this guy like I've been doing for a week. I just ask for oranges!!!! I'm so smart :D

How do I get his attention? Just scream at him?

He might not get me oranges if I do that

I'll just slither up to him and lightly tap him. Yeah that sounds easy enough

So I do just that. I slither up to his leg and lightly tap his leg with the top of my head.

He looks down at me with a smirk and lightly picks me up. I appreciate the light handling at least. I feel as respectable as I can be as a snake familiar who's going to be the servant of some higher than thou prince.

"Oh? Finally done ignoring me?" He says with that same over used ugly smirk. Sucks to be you. I'm more interested in the second male lead. A strong dependable knight who is kind and charming while still being brave and fearless.

I was suddenly brought out of my trance by snapping sound. I took a deep breath and stared at him. He looked at me with a look full of expectations on what I might say.

I opened my snake like mouth and I saw the excitement grow in his eyes.

He had a look in his eyes that screamed oh wise one what knowledge have you finally decided to grace me with

"Oranges. I want oranges.....please"

The excitement died so fast almost as fast as your free time but that time is so fast that even sonic can't beat it.

He rung a tiny bell

'He's one of those royal kids. The one with the annoying bells. Maybe I should just go back to ignoring him... I wouldn't get my oranges though. Honestly I'll learn anything as long as I get oranges. I also would like my orange juice I payed for' I thought as I glare at the sky

I felt a stare on me so I immediately look at the only little creep who would stare at me. The crown prince...

He was just looking at me weirdly but then gained another stupid smirk as the servant came in with.....

He held the tray up while still maintaining the dumb smirk.

"Not yet dear familiar. Your going to have to pay more attention and at least listen to me a little bit more. Though I do adore your sassy attitude. No one has ever treated me like that you could say I'm the best ever in the world in fact you could say that-"
He continued to drone on and on and honestly I was too focused on the orange desserts to even care about his egotistical speech.

"Whatever kid I'll spend time with you just give me the orange desserts and drinks." I say in a rush

"Oh? What shall we do to hang out then?" He said further prolonging the time away from the delicious orange treats in front of me

"Have tea? Learn magic together? I don't care I just want orange treats once in a while..." I say trying to just appease him to get the treats. All I want is oranges man. I know that making quick promises are bad but I just want some oranges.

He smiles a genuine smile and puts down the tray of orange delights. I immediately wrap the end of my body around it and drag to the other side of the table In fear of them being stolen away from me.

'Finally oranges! From sliced to cake to pie this tray had it all!' I thought.

I then looked at the glass of orange juice a tall glass... how do I drink this??? I tried to make myself stand on the bottoms of my tail and looked at the top of the glass and gracefully dunked my entire face into it.

I drank some and took my face out and curled up on the ground in pain. 'Why?! Why do you hurt me so beloved?!' I though in dismay as the stinging in my eyes didn't disappear.

Little did I know the prince was watching me make an utter fool of myself while planning away. All the things we could do together filled his mind. Countless study sessions, long magic lecture, and wait! Hey! I'm spoiling things for you aren't I?

Well you'll have to find out what happens next time dear readers? I would write more but I need some sort of sleep schedule now don't I?
