Alyssa's POV

It wasn't so bad after that. I guess I just had to let it out. The weight seemed to have been lifted from my shoulders. But the burden was still there. Well I didn't know that. Soon it would be lifted.
I walked into history. Math was so much less fun than usual. It was crazy! I love math, but today we had a bunch of work to do that didn't make much sense. My day was not going to go well. I could see it. History is not fun for me. Oh hurray! I thought, sarcastically.
I sat down in my usual seat. Chloe wasn't in this class. So I just sat alone. Up until a few days ago. The new kid, James, now sat next to me. It was the only empty seat in the room so it wasn't really a choice.
"Okay class!" Mrs. Martinez's loud voice practically shook the room. "We are going to do a project about Greek Gods and Goddesses!" She wrote some useless stuff on the board. "You will be working with the people next to you. You will be putting on a short play about some of the Greek Gods And Goddesses." I looked over at James. He looked slightly exited. I didn't blame him. I loved acting. I loved anything related to TV, movies, any kind of film. He turned to me and asked in a whisper, "What kind of play do you wanna do?" I saw a gleam in his eyes.
"Whatever you want. Anythings fine with me." He beamed and his green eyes sparkled with delight. He seemed very happy about the project. "Time to get started! Discuss what you are going to do!" She clapped her hands as a way to tell us to get working.
I took out a sheet of paper and a pen. "Ok! So I was thinking that we could do something with Athena and how she was born." I jotted down that idea. "I heard that Zeus gave birth to Athena through her forehead! That would be so cool to make!" He giggled like a little girl and his dimples showed.
"Hmmm." I started. I saw a bit of light fade from his eyes. "That sounds freaking awesome!" The sparkle returned and he clapped his hands in excitement. We planned out what sort of stuff we were going to need for the next twenty minutes.
"My uncle works for a tv station. I think he could hook us up with a camera and a tripod to use." I gnawed at the end of my pen, one of my bad habits. James' pupils widened. His jaw dropped. It actually full on opened like how people do in books. He was overly excited, but it was funny.
"Okay class!" Mrs. Martinez pulled me away from laughing at how childish James was. "How many of you know what you are going to do?" About 80% of the class raised their hands. "Ok and how many of you know what you need and how to get it?" Only us and a two other groups kept their hands up. She took a deep breath in and went to help with the groups who didn't really have any clue on what to do.
Finally the period came to an end. I had science next. This should be fun. I silently thought. I walked to the classroom. I felt my phone vibrate I almost stopped to answer it. But I didn't. I really wish I did.
