"So, my Butterfly. What made you want to leave so badly? You always say what a wonderful place it is there and how you love it there." My Uncle says.
"I was only saying that to cause you less stress. They- they..." I trail off and Nancy explains the rest.
"She has to do all the chores, all the cooking, she is not allowed I the pack and she is bet regularly for no reason other than the hate Amanda gives her. But I still don't understand why you wanted to leave so badly, Erin." Nancy says.
"I-I found my m-m-m-mate but he r-r-r-rejected me-e-e." I say through breaking sobs. My Uncle growls.
"Who is your mate?" He says through bared teeth.
"Alpha Kyle." I say and their are gasps surrounding the plane. Nancy sits up and puts her arms around my shoulder.
"That's very odd," My Uncle says, "For an Alpha to reject his mate is very odd, but what's more odd is that two Alpha's mated." My Uncle says.
"Sorry, but I don't understand Uncle." I say.
"Listen butterfly. Your blood is pure Alpha blood. My brother, your Dad, was an Alpha. Me, your Uncle, is an Alpha. Mine and your fathers father was an Alpha and your mothers father was an Alpha. Which means, you have Alpha blood running all through you, you are the purest of Alpha's there has ever been. Which means that you are the next Alpha for the Silver-Blood Moon pack. When we get back I am going to teach you along with my other pack members." My Uncle explains.
"Oh OK." I say.
"Anyway, tomorrow I shall introduce you to the rest of the pack when we arrive and the following day we will begin your training, for now, you need your sleep, Goodnight." My Uncle says. I say 'goodnight' to him and Nancy and then I fall asleep.
(Alpha Kyle's POV)
I wake up. Guilt flooding my body as I remember what I did to myself and my mate.
For a moment I saw her beautiful shadowed face, blinking back tears. My wolf growling at me and then her words. her words hurt me like a thousand ice cold blades stabbed in me, and in me again, and in me again. "OK, I accept your rejection. Nature obviously made a mistake." She sid and then she stormed out. For a moment I stood there dumb-struck and then the words hit me full on and I collapsed making a big loud thump noise. I pulled myself up using the kitchen counter trying to breathe. I saw her look at me out of the corner of my eyes and as quickly as she had looked she had gone back to her marching upstairs. The next thing I know is I hear her screaming and I run up seeing what had happened. There is broken glass everywhere, some shards with blood on. Amanda was laughing cruelly with the others.
"What the hell happened?" I had asked.
"Oh, I just taught the Mutt a lesson." She said. I growled but quickly covered it up by laughing with the others.
"She's hurt our mate, that's her blood on that glass we should kill her." My wolf growled. I laughed at it.
"To hell with that, I rejected her, she accepted I don't care." I said back to it.
"You still love her." The wolf insisted.
"To hell with it I don't. Now shut up." I said.
"Fine." Mumbled my wolf.
I lay back in bed where I was now. Resting here with my Amanda - my wolf growled but I ignored it - she stirred and I smiled. "Ready to go down for breakfast?" I ask her. She nods and we change. We walk down hand in hand and then we reach the kitchen where our food is not ready for us. My wolf whimpered slightly as he sensed something was wrong. "Call the Mutt Amanda." I say to her and she goes upstairs. She comes backdown in a rage.
"That Mutt has left. She's fucking left. Her bed hasn't been slept in!" Amanda storms, stamping her foot for little effect.
"Hang on, babe." I say to her as I talk through mind communication to the pack 'Look for the Mutt, she's gone missing and her bed hasn't been slept in, someone check up on Nancy too, they are friends I think.'
A few minutes later Gabe says to me 'Nancy isn't here either but weve picked up her and an unknown scent and we're following that.'
'OK, mind chat when you get a lead.' I order him and I secretly hope she is OK. Mostly, I feel guilty. As I knew the main reason why she left.
A few hours later Gabe mind-communicates. 'Hey man, we traced the two scents all the way back to a private airport called Heatherbie Lance. We can't get anything out of the manager, Geoffrey, either, he insists that he doesn't know anything. He's a werewolf too.'
'But where did she get the money to hire the private airport?' I ask.
'Well that's the thing. The manager isn't a rogue, he has a pack. His pack is old friends with the Silver-Blood Moon Pack, and you know who the Alpha is." Gabe explains.
'Who?' I ask.
'Erin's Uncle. When we told the manager what pack we were he told us to fuck off and to never come back. That any of our pack was unwelcome in that village as it is their territory. Man, we are in some deep shit here. You know the Silver-Blood Moon pack is of legend the oldest and strongest and purest pack in the world. The families in there have been in that pack for centuries of generations.' Gabe says.
'I know! We'll just have to watch our backs a bit more.' I say and I walk into the lounge to watch TV
