~2 weeks later~

"OK, I'm going to start the perimeter and relieve Gabe and Fabian." I say to my pack. They nod and Dean kisses me goodbye before I change into my tracky bottoms, a top that leaves half my belly showing, and my high-top trainers. I shout bye and then run outside, starting the perimeter of Kyle's territory. I put my hair up and then start to run on the border line of the territory I'm helping to protect. I run and use my wolf senses to help me consider any dangers. I pay attention to what I can see see first.

I can see miles and miles of trees and shrubs. I can see the bark where it is falling off the trees and the many leaves scattering the ground. The sunlight I see as being made of the seven colours that make up the pure, white light the sun produces. All the light is enhanced so I can see everything crystal clear. Things are nearly glowing and sparkling! I look at the shrubs and notice the small, tiny ants and other insects using them to feed and other useful things and see a family of deer a little way to the left which makes a smile slowly spread across my face. But through all of this natural beauty, that the naked human eye always fails to pick up, I cannot see anything (or anyone) that will cause any danger.

I change to concentrate on my smell. I can smell the woodsy smell that always spreads around wood areas. I can smell the moist moss which clings to the rocks and trees. You can smell these things in human form but the scent is always more concentrated, you can never appreciate the natural beauty that comes with forests and woods. Not when your human, or even using your human senses and body. I shrug my shoulders and carry on taking in as many scents that I can. I can make the strong scents of Gabe and Fabian and the fainter ones from my pack and other members of Kyle's pack. I can sense my scent of vanilla and cinnamon and also the slight lingering smell of Dean's scent of honey and snowdrops. I can smell the water from the river somewhere to my right and the smell of the marshy area surrounding one of its banks.

I change to concentrate in my hearing. I can hear the rush of the water from the river as the current moves it along towards the lake. I can hear the small patter of animal feet across the wood floor as well as my own alon with my heartbeat beating strongly and at a constant speed and rate. I can her the rustle of leaves on the ground an in the trees as re wind picks up and blows them to move around. I can hear three pairs of feet behind me with three heartbeats. Wait. Three people are following me? Three people are following me!

I risk a glance behind me and see three men that I had heard chasing after me. I sigh. Fuck My Life. I speed up and hear their rushed footprints speed up. Will they drop it? They were definitely werewolves, I could tell that by the natural scents coming off of them. Then I hear Tom use mind-chat. 'Erin? We've located some of he rogues. According to Kyle there should be three missing.' He says and it takes all of my effort to reply.

'Yeah, I know.' I force through my mind as I push to go further.

'Erin? Are you OK?' Tom asks worried.

'Hmm. I know where the three other rogues are.' I strain through and Tom senses something wrong.

'Erin, what are you not telling us and where are the three rogues?' Tom asks and I grimace as I sense the rogues get faster and are now a few metres away. I push forwards ignoring the restraint my legs give. 'Erin? Answer me!' Tom says worriedly.

'Tom. Don't freak.' I force again as I pick up my speed again.

'That normally means freak.' Jack informs us all and I grimace again.

'The three are following me. Closely.' I strain.

'WHAT?!' I hear Dean exclaim which makes me half smile as I start to use my wolf speed to get away from the three rogues on my tail. 'Erin? Baby? Where the fuck are you?' Dean asks, evidently restraining himself.
