Merlins POV

Today was the day I'm going to tell Arthur of my magic he deserves to know and it's been about three years since uther died he's making a great king and he's happy with gwen and the knights of the round table so I think now is the time to tell him

I breathed in and out then left my room and headed to the main physician courters I walked in with a worried/happy look and this made gaius look at me with his eyebrow raised

"You okay m'boy you look a little paler than normal" Gaius asked

"I'm telling Arthur today" I awnsered gulping

Gaius looked at me for a moment to make sure I wasn't joking and then when he realized I'm not his face went sorrow

"Be careful merlin please" Gaius said pulling me into a hug

"Aren't I always Gaius" I said smirking at my father figure

I grabbed the sandwich Gaius had made for me and then headed to Arthur's chambers to wake him and bring him his breakfast I went to the kitchen got the breakfast and made my way to the prats chambers

When I got there he was still peacefully asleep so I carefully set down the tray on the table and headed over to the curtains I didn't do my normal routine today I slowly opened the curtains and then went over to the side of arthurs bed

"Sire it's time to wake up and get ready" I spoke in a very servant tone

Arthur groaned and then flipped the blankets over his head I moved from the side if his bed and started to pick up all the stuff up off the floor then I heard another shuffle from the bed when I looked up Arthur was sitting up looking at me like I had slugs coming out of my mouth

"What's wrong with you" Arthur asked

"What do you mean" I asked back

"Well you didn't wake me up with your normal annoying Loud rise and shine sire then you didn't rip the covers off and now your doing your chores without complaining" Arthur said in on breath

"Once you eat your breakfast you have some paperwork to be done and then once that is done you have training with the knights other than that your free for the day" I awnsered ignoring him

Arthur looked at me for a moment then got out of bed then sat down at the table and ate his breakfast after he was done he went behind the screen and changed then sat down at his desk I was done picking up everything from the chambers so I decided now would be a good time as any I walked in front of his desk and put my hands behind my back I then bowed

"Sire I have something to tell you" I said

When I looked up I saw Arthur with a curious worried look on his face

"Your not quiting are you" Arthur said somewhat jokingly

"It depends on how you take this" I awnsered gulping

Before arthur could speak again I did "I have magic" I said staring him in the eyes

His face went from blank to laughing I raised my eyebrow at him

"That's a funny joke merlin sure you have magic" He said laugh through every word

"Arthur" I said in a stern voice this caught his attention he looked up at me
