Keith's POV
It had been 3 years since I quit the Blade of Marmora. I wanted to settle down on Earth, and have a blissful life. My mother told me it was okay, since they had been getting a lot more recruits lately. I was so glad I could leave and spend my life happily here on Earth.
"Hey, Keith. What are you doing up so early?" I heard a voice say. This voice instantly lifted my mood when I heard it.
"Hi, Lance. I couldn't sleep that well, so I decided to get up. Why are you up?" I asked him.
"I noticed you weren't there, so I couldn't keep sleeping," he replied.
My heart melted. I always loved Lance, but I was overjoyed to see the softer side of him. Ever since we got together about 3 years ago, I could see the real Lance that was under all the pretending. The Lance that was tender, emotional, passionate. The Lance I completely fell for.
"I love you so much," I told him. Lance shook himself awake, and a lovestruck smile took over his face.
"I love you too. So much," he said. "I love you more than the amount of planets there are in the universe. More than the amount of stars there are in the sky. I'm so lucky to have you."
