♤Ellie's POV♤
I was so relieved when Adrian found Elian. He was playing now with Elian in our room.
Adrian was carrying Elian on his back and Elian was pretending that he was a horse. They were so adorable and looked like a father and son playing together. I smiled as I looked at them.
A bit later, I noticed that Elian was already yawning. Adrian carried him and put him on his bed.
"You look so sleepy Elian. You should sleep now," Adrian said.
"But Uncle, I still want to play," Elian said as he pouted.
"We can still play tomorrow. I'll come back here. I promise."
"Uncle Adrian, can you be my Papa?" Elian suddenly asked.
I was surprised when Elian asked it. Adrian cast me a serious glance and then smiled at Elian, "I'm sorry Elian but I couldn't because your real Papa will be sad. However, I'm your godfather so it's like that I'm second Papa."
Elian looked contented with Adrian's answer. He yawned again and place him a blanket. A sang him a lullaby and after that he fell asleep.
"Thank you for finding him Niñito. I don't know what to do if you're not there," I said to Adrian.
"I'm not the one who found him Ellie," he replied seriously.
My brows snapped together. I thought the Uncle that Elian had been talking about earlier was Adrian.
"Really? Who is it then? I should thank him. Maybe, I should invite him for a dinner and cook my specialty. He was so kind to look after my Elian. "
"It's Liam," he answered.
I froze and suddenly couldn't speak. Did I hear him right? Maybe not.
"What a coincidence. He has the same name with that Liam Sullivan," I replied smiling.
"It's Liam Sullivan. Elian's father," Adrian stated seriously.
I was shocked and didn't want to believe it. I was so speechless and didn't know what to say.
"Elian was already asking about his father Ellie. I think it's time for you to tell the truth. You cannot hide it forever. It's fate who brought them together." Adrian lectured. It's beginning to be repeatitive. I'm tired of hearing it from him and Mama.
"Then, let's tell him that you're his father Niñito. Let's get married. I will do my best to be a good wife." I suggested not being serious. I know it's impossible to happen. I love Adrian as a friend but not more than that. I just want him to stop talking.
"You're not taking it seriously Elizabeth! You will tell Elian that I'm his father and marry me? I love you but as my best friend and marriage is not just a game. We know ourselves that we cannot love each other morethan friends. You need to think about Elian. What about when he knows the truth when he gets older. He will hate you when he knows that you lied to him. I don't want you to get hurt when that time comes."
