Karl and Sapnap didn't plan to be caught in a blizzard today, but nature had other plans. Karl groaned as buried his nose into the scarf, his fluffy brown hair whipping around under the purple beanie he wore. He held Sapnap's warm hand on his own. Having a walking heater who just so happened to be your boyfriend in a snowstorm was always helpful.
"Sapitus napitus, when are we gonna get there? We've been walking for hours and I'm tired~" Karl groaned as he snuggled into sapnap's arm. sapnap huffed as his tail flicked. Being a blaze hybrid had its benefits. Considering he was from a dimension that resembled hell, he was pretty warm most of the time, even when it was 50 below zero outside. He looked down at his whiny boyfriend, rolling his eyes.
"Calm down, honey. We are almost home, just a little longer!" he chuckled, kissing his boyfriend's cheek. Karl huffed, looking away into the dark surroundings. He stopped when he noticed a faint movement under a pile of snow, his breath hitching. sapnap looked down at his boyfriend that had stopped in his tracks, causing sapnap to stumble a little. He raised an eyebrow at the boy. "Karl? Wha-" his sentence was interrupted by Karl running off into the blizzard. "Karl! Where are you going! It's dark outside, you'll get lost!" sapnap ran after the boy that scurried over to the side of the road, dropping onto his knees in front of a pile of snow. He began digging the snow off the pile, gasping when he saw yellow feathers. He gasped when he saw a man in just a tank top and suspenders. He tried to pry the wings open, but they wouldn't budge. He heard a whimper from under him, meaning the man was still alive. He gasped.
"Sapnap! Quickly, come here!" he called for his blaze boyfriend who quickly ran over to Karl. Sapnap looked confused as hell, but as soon as his eyes landed on the almost frozen boy. He quickly pried open the wings, which soon fell limp to his sides. A toddler wrapped in a blanket was under the wings. Karl and Sapnap quickly picked the two up and rushed to their house. Luckily it wasn't that far away. As soon as they entered the house, Karl quickly started the fireplace, placing the toddler down on the couch. He wasn't as cold as the yellow-winged man was though. The winged man was placed down in front of the fireplace to warm up, Karl quickly rushing to get more blankets for the two. sapnap ran his fingers over the man's yellow wings. He had never seen wings like those before, they reminded him of a duck. As he examined the unconscious boy's face more, he began to notice how pretty he looked. His hair, like a black raven, flowed down his head, hidden by a black beanie, he looked pale, his skin was slowly getting its colour back though with the heat returning to him. His fingers were slightly purple still, and his arms were covered in bandages. He frowned as he saw the stained bandages on the poor boy. He wondered what happened?
His thoughts were cut off when his multicoloured boyfriend ran into the room, quickly throwing blankets at the beanie-wearing man. He chuckled as he stood up, placed a kiss on Karl's cheek, and walked off to cook some supper for everyone. Karl giggled as his cheek dusted pink. He sat down beside the sleeping child, who stirred slightly in their sleep, before laying on Karl's lap. Karl cooed, gently petting the boy's fluffy brown hair, and pulling the blanket back around him. A comfortable silence fell over the living room, Karl gently petting the boy's hair, giggling when he started purring. The little goat hybrid was so fucking cute! Karl just couldn't get over it. He laid back, grabbing the remote for the tv, and turning on some cartoons. He sat like that, just petting the boy who was once again stirring in his sleep, but this time, he woke up fully. He quickly flew off the couch, looking around with a scared look. The sudden movement caused the poor goggle-wearing boy to jump ten feet in the air. Tubbo watched this happen, a face of fear falling onto the toddler. He frowned, eyes falling onto an unconscious quackity, causing his eyes to sparkle with delight. He ran over to the still sleeping quackity who was shaken awake slightly by the small goat hybrid.
"Mama! Mama!" Tubbo clung onto quackity's arm, quackity, still half awake, smiled lopsidedly, eyes half-lidded as he pulled tubbo down. A sniffle followed by a cough resonated from the duck hybrid. Karl watched the whole ordeal with a childish grin on his face.
"Ah, hello! I'm Karl, I guess you're finally awake hehe!" quackity's head shot up at the voice, quickly backing up with the goat hybrid in his arms.
"Who the fuck are you? What do you want with us!? You aren't gonna send us back to Schlatt, are you?" quackity's voice wavered at the thought of going back to that... beast of a man. Karl just looked confused, which caused quackity's thoughts to settle down slightly.
"As I've said, I'm Karl and no we don't want anything, also I don't know who this schlatt guy is, but I assure you, I and my boyfriend won't let you anywhere near that man, especially if he did something bad to you, which I assume he has." Karl chuckled nervously, holding his arms in front of him, unsure if he should touch the boy with wings. Quackity paused, looking around seeing he was inside a house; most likely the boy in the multi-coloured hoodie's house. He noticed that he was in front of a fire and was no longer cold. Maybe he could trust them.
"Karl! Where did you put the plates!" a deeper voice called from somewhere in the house, causing a giggle to pass through the bubbly man in front of quackity. He stood up and patted quackity on the head before walking off to help sapnap, leaving quackity confused as he looked around him. So, they weren't going to send him back?
Huh. maybe they weren't so bad.
