"A Dark Moment" by Mie Kylie Puza
Oh there she goes again,
Every night its the same
She locked the door for a reason
So she could sit in this hurt
Indulgence in pity party teaThey said, you're strong, are you?, it mocked
A fighter who braved forward with positivity, is she?
But why do darkness spill in the night like a conscience
Lurking in her mind, stuck and on repeat
Sapping her force in a feat.End it to be freed,
Lift and wave the white sheet
It is a risk to live,
What if she can't make it?
But what if she does?A hug is all she needs,
Like a saving light amidst the confusion and bruises of war
In the form of her closest love, her family
Scars are worn as an armor
In this battlefield of emotions.Have courage to address those feelings,
Vulnerability isn't a weakness,
She won but it's just the beginning
Just one step at a time,
She'll achieve what she hopes for.
