Emyr Dulcel, a very striking looking young man. His long hair white as snow, his skin was pale and seemed to glow when the sunlight hit his skin, his eyes a pinkish-purple, while his lips stood out as a pale pink on his face.
Next to him stood his head butler and nanny, the only thing he has close to family now. The boy was smiling however, he was glad to leave his manor, thinking of his new found freedom as he stood on the platform 9 ¾.
"Master Dulcel, remember to write to us for anything you need, we'll take care of the household while you're gone", his head butler said gently, "Just go be a normal boy for once, make some friends, play around... or whatever it is you youngins do now."
The albino boy let his smile falter and he closed his eyes and bowed his head a bit in understanding towards his butler, "The household will be in your care, please write to me as well if there is anything to go wrong."
"Yes, of course Master Dulcel."
There was a snuffle, both males looked to see the nanny crying silently, "I'm sorry for this disgraceful display Master Dulcel", the nanny rubbed her tears away that didn't seem to stop, "Be careful over there, the other boys aren't as frail as you are, go to the medwitch if you get hurt. We'll be at the manor waiting for you." The heavy lady then suddenly hugged the albino.
The boy froze, not knowing what to do, "Y-Yes, please be in good health in the meanwhile." That was all he mustered before the woman finally let him go.
He took his luggage and his pet along with him, the pet was a parting gift from his servants who said they'd miss him dearly. He didn't understand how his servants were so fond of him, the boy shoved the thought aside as he got on board.
On the train the boy walked down the narrow path, down the compartments to get an empty one to himself. He settled in the space and took out his pet. It was a rabbit, a Mini Lop to be exact, it's just about three months old, at least according to his servants' knowledge.
Emyr held the little creature in his hands, its fur was white, but its ears were a toffee brown including its mouth and tail, with a few lighter spots around those parts. He didn't particularly know why they thought a tiny rabbit would be the best gift for him, but it was cute.
While petting the rabbit the boy looked out the window, he saw many families hugging, crying, and being affectionate towards their kin before they were to board onto the train. It wasn't odd, that was normal between families, but he still didn't understand why they felt the need to do that, they'll see each other again anyways.
The boy's eyes then caught another boy looking up at the train, he didn't seem to have anyone with him. He stared, the boy outside looked relieved as he processed what he was looking at.
His purplish eyes were drawn to him, he didn't look particularly outstanding, his hair was black, his skin was pale (maybe even a sickly pale), and overall looked very pretty for a boy. Even so, Emyr couldn't tear his eyes off the small boy.
Then the boy below looked up, locking eyes with the albino boy. The albino boy flinched, he was caught, he immediately looked away and pulled down the blinds to his window. He held onto the little rabbit tightly and pet his embarrassment out on the fluffy creature. In which the rabbit didn't seem to mind the extra attention.
The train was starting to move, as the train was filled with chatter louder than before, Emyr just sat in silence. His compartment door suddenly rolled open, he turned his head and his eyes widened at the sight of who it was, it was the boy that caught him staring.
"Seems I was right, the blinds are still closed", the boy said pointing his gaze to the drawn blinds.
The albino calmed his expression and reached for the blinds and drew them up again. Not addressing anything verbally.
"Are you embarrassed?" The boy seemed amused at the quietness of the albino boy.
"You came here to tease me?" Emyr said in an elegant voice, "That would be very childish if that is your reason."
The boy hummed, "No, it's not my only reason, thought you looked interesting. And lucky enough, you are. Can I sit?"
Emyr nodded with his eyes closed, "I admit you seemed interesting too. I just made it too obvious."
"You're an odd one, you know that?" The boy said without a care.
Emyr didn't say anything, he just sat there petting his rabbit. The boy had settled down in the train seat and stared at the rabbit in the albino's hands.
"I've never seen a real rabbit before", the raven haired boy said looking at the fluffy thing.
Emyr glanced at him, "Never went to a zoo?"
The boy shook his head, "I've got no money for that."
Emyr gently picked up the rabbit, feeling the rabbit's heart beat rapidly from being in the air, "Hold out your hands, she's pretty small, so be careful."
The boy's eyes widened as he looked at the rabbit, he cupped his hands and put them under the hands of the albino.
Emyr let the bunny slip gently from his hands into the other's, his fingertips brushing against the palms of the other boy. His hands were cold, but strangely his fingertips felt very hot for a few seconds.
The boy looked at the fluffy creature in his hands, "She's so warm. Does she have a name?"
Emyr shook his head, his hair swishing side to side, "No, I don't think I'd be very good at naming her."
"Then what's your name?" The boy asked.
Emyr pressed his lips together, "Emyr Dulcel."
"Then call her Emyr junior or something. My mother named me after my father, why not do the same?" The boy shrugged, still admiring the tiny rabbit.
"What about you, what's your name?"
"I'm Tom Riddle, Tom Marvolo Riddle." The boy smiled politely.
Emyr glanced at the rabbit, "I'll call her Toy."
"That seems a bit rude doesn't it?" Tom chuckled.
Emyr looked at the rabbit in the boy's hands, "No it fits her."
