After tending two long meetings in a row, Jennie's energy had drained and her mind was thoroughly washed out. When she came home, she had no energy to cook for herself and only went straight towards the couch to rest her aching body.

She sighed, her sigh deep and filled with the sound of exhaustion. Just as her eyes were about to close, the annoying sound of her ringtone erupted through the four walls of her living room which earned a groan from her. She suddenly became more annoyed than she already was.

Without looking at the caller's ID, she pressed the phone on her ear and asked in a lazy tone, "What now?"

Who is this fart who called me at this time of hour?! She wanted to bloody scream all her frustrations out but knew she had no energy to do so.

"Jennie," the sound of an old man's voice made her heave a deep sigh. Was she supposed to cry or laugh? She doesn't know.

Ugh, what do you want from me, old thing? was what she wanted to ask but decided against it knowing she would only worsen the situation. This old thing is quite hot-tempered and she would only bring another headache on her plate which she doesn't want as of the moment. So, instead, she asked, "What is it?"

The man chuckled over the phone. "Why are you so hot-tempered?"

"Just get to the point!" She spat feeling a bit agitated.

"I've been informed of the old man's arrival in Seoul. Mind telling me anything about that?" The arrogant man's question earned a scoff from Jennie. She had this urge to just hang up the phone if only she wasn't exhausted from the meetings she had a while ago.

"Why are you asking me?"

"You!" Then, she heard the man sigh before speaking in a mild, arrogant tone, "That old man is closer to you and your cousins. As his son, and your father, shouldn't you inform me about this?"

She scoffed at his words. How she hated the fact that she was born with a father as arrogant and disgusting as this man! She felt like shouting but it would only seem futile in the ears of this old thing, her voice and saliva would only be put to waste.

"Oh? So you're my father?" she chuckled sarcastically and laughed before continuing, "Right. How could I forget such a thing? Though I suggest, you should remember that when you're out fucking each of your sluts!" Without giving him another chance to retort, she had already hung up the phone before gripping it tightly. She inhaled and exhaled angrily before shutting her eyes tightly.

Kim Yong-guk, Jennie's biological father, was the second son of Kim Tae-ho. Out of all his brothers, he's the most expert when it comes to being a womanizer of his generation. But even so, his wife, Kim Shira, has yet to divorce him. Somehow, her so-called parents are so twisted to the extent that even she doesn't understand what kind of understanding the two have for each other. Like how in the world does his wife manages to sleep on the same bed, and live in the same house with that kind of piece of shit after knowing that he did that disgusting deed with his sluts?! But then again, she doesn't care. After all, not even once did they act like her parents rather than being her egg and sperm donors.

What the heck is wrong with that old thing?

Annoyed by the call, she dialed someone else and waited for it to be answered.

"What a surprise you called first, grumpy woman." A very familiar and annoying deep voice of a woman erupted through her ears.

"So childish, old woman."
