After i asked my dad why did he had to do all of that, bigla s'yang humiwalay saakin at nagpabalik na sa kulungan. He doesn't want to answer my question.
Umuwi na lang ako non dahil nawala yung lakas ng loob ko na kausapin s'ya.
"Your dad is going to face another case, dun naman yon kanila Jan at Prince." Paliwanag ni Shai saakin.
I don't know what to do, really.
"Dad is obviously guilty." Komento ko.
"Oo nga, kumuha pa rin sila ng lawyer you need to talk to the lawyer daw for your dad. I know you're nervous, samahan ka naman namin nila Jirah eh." Saad n'ya saakin with full of assurance.
Napahilot ako sa sentido ko, i am so stressed! Pinilit ko muna si kuya na ihandle ang company. Hindi s'ya pwede na mag take sa kaso ni daddy dahil hindi naman nila alam ang hindi pagkakaunawaan ng dalawa.
"I'm here if you need help." Kuya hugged me as soon as i open everything to him.
"Thanks kuya, pagod lang talaga ako." He said that i should rest kaya yon muna ang ginawa ko. Wala pa s'yang case kaya napapayag ko s'ya na mag take sa company namin.
Kinabukasan, mabilis lang ako nagbihis because i am late again for my meeting.
I'm still in the company right now at mamaya ko imemeet yung lawyer na maghahandle sa case ni daddy. Iimbistigahan n'ya kase si daddy about sa dalawang case's na kinakaharap nito ngayon.
"Ms. Valdez? Okay lang po kayo kanina pa kayo tulala?" My secretary asked me.
"Ah yeah I'm fine," i gave her assurance smile bago magtipa ulit sa laptop ko.
"Ma'am, kayo po ba ang a-attend sa meeting bukas about sa bagong branch ng restaurant na ipapatayo nyo?" My secretary asked again.
"Ah no it's kuya, he's going to handle the company for 1 week. I have a lot of things to handle about my dad." I said.
Hindi pwedeng iwanan ko na lang si daddy na ganon. I am not helping him dahil maling mali naman talaga ang ginagawa n'ya, I'm just helping the process para makulong na s'ya ng tuluyan at pagbayaran lahat ng kasalanan n'ya.
"Ah sige po ma'am," tumango tango ang babae bago tuluyang umalis sa office ko. I finished transferring my kuya's name sa mga importanteng bagay dito sa company tapos tinignan ko ang oras. I still have 3 hours before meeting the lawyer.
"You can always rest, Yuna," Jirah commented when she saw me looking stressed me.
"Yeah i really need that!" I said bago naupo sa tabi ni Haze. Nandito na din si Shai, oh how i wish Prince is also here with us!
"Kamiss si Prince," just like i said, Shai also said that. I mean who wouldn't, he's just so sweet and caring.
I ate a lot of food today since kagabi pa ako walang kain. Puro tubig lang ako kanina, because i have a lot of things to process.
"Drink some water, baka mabulunan ka." Haze slid the water beside me so i drink it without hesitation. Damn i don't care about my outfit, gustom na gutom ako.
"Okay ka talaga? Oh samahan ka pa namin mamaya?" Jirah asked me again.
"I'm fine, i need to do this all by myself." I smiled.
"Yeah sure," Shai rolled her eyes, maybe because she found my answer fake. Well yeah hindi ko talaga kaya, kabado ako but i need to do that. Kailangan kong makita si daddy at makausap.
"I need to go now," i said to them after i finish my foods. They just nodded and said good luck for me before i drove to the lobby.
"Ms. Valdez, glad you accept this interview for your dad." A man escort me to sit in a chair so i thank him.
"It's good to be here." I smiled.
"He will be late?" Narinig kong usapan ng dalawa pang tao dito sa conference room.
"Yeah, he's still finishing a case." A man said again.
I don't know who or what are they talking about but I'm still listening kaysa naman mabagot ako. And also they're so close to me so i really can here it.
I busied myself on my phone talking to my friends while waiting for the lawyer.
Ilang minuto pa ang naka lipas naka rinig kami ng pagbukas ng pinto kaya sabay sabay kaming napalingon dito.
His eyes is cold, looking at the room. He's wearing a black tuxedo, inayos pa ng isang kamay n'ya yung neck tie habang ang isa ay hawak ang brief case n'ya.
"Atty. Miller glad you came," a man greeted him, and all he does is nod at him.
Umiwas ako ng tingin, tumikhim ako. It's Tyler, hindi ko alam kung papano s'ya haharapin, and s'ya pa yung attorney na hahandle sa case ni daddy!
"Ms. Valdez," napatayo ako at itinaas ang tingin. Para naman akong napaso ng magtama ang tingin namin ni Jan kaya agad akong napa-iwas. He's more taller now! More mature and cold.
The session started, i am so distracted by Jan!hindi ko alam kung bakit. Napapa-iwas na lang din ako ng tingin tuwing nagtatama ang mata namin kapag nag didiscuss s'ya sa harap.
"Finally," i whispered to myself ng makalabas na ako sa room.
"Excuse me," his baritone voice startled me kaya napa gilid ako.
"H-hey Shai, where are you?" I am calling Shai habang nasa loob na ng sasakyan ko.
"Nasa condo bakit?" She answered me.
"Is Kiel staying over there?" I asked her again. They're living in the same condo now but i hear that Kiel is in Tagaytay for a project.
"Hindi, bukas pa ata uwi n'ya," she said.
"Can i stay sandali d'yan, this session is so stressful!" I complained, but si Jan lang naman ang nakaka stress don, i didn't know that he's the lawyer!
Pumayag s'ya kaya naman nag drive ako papunta sa condo nila.
"May problema ka ba?" Salubong n'ya saakin, pagka pasok ko sa condo nila.
"No, i have a lot of things to tell." Tinakpan ko ng kamay ko yung mukha ko remembering his face, god get out from my mind Tyler!
I was about to talk when someone knocked on the door kaya pinuntahan muna ni Shai yon.
"Uy! Bakit naligaw ka?" Kausap ni Shai sa bisita.
"Layjake wants me to give you this." His voice! It's Jan omygod!
"Tamang tama, nandito si Yuna."
Damn! Masasampal talaga kita Shai Angelica!
