Chapter 5

Jamie's Pov

I stare out the window the entire time Daniel drove hoping the drive wouldn't end anytime soon, if these test come out positive I'm done for.

"Jamie." I look over at Daniel who had called my name he stares at me and I stare back, there's so much I want to say but I can't bring myself to speak.

"Jamie, if you are pregnant the baby is mine right?" He asked. My stomach knotted and my eyes water, I've never been so afraid in my entire life. The thought of being a teen mom is terrifying itself, but in reality knowing I'm possibly carrying a child makes me sick.

"Yes." Of course I could've said a few more words after that but what married man wants to hear that he's going to be a father to another child and not his wife being the mother?

"Whenever you're ready we can go in." He says

I stare at the clinic confused, but realized it was better to go to a doctor than a drugstore.

"Ms. Vega you're not pregnant." I cried happily and hugged Daniel tightly, before he snuck a kiss on my lips.

"This is a lesson that lots of teen girls get everyday luckily you didn't get the full package." The doctor says

Thank you, Jesus. But this isn't over yet.

I walk down the halls to the lobby with Daniel by my side. It was silent and I knew the "talk" would be coming soon.
"Jamie, we can't do this anymore." He says. Did it hurt? Sure I had developed feelings for him. But it was only right and was definitely what I was hoping we'd agree to.

"Good becaue I wanted the same I just didn't know how to say and I didn't want us to end on a bad note." I say.

"Yeah glad we're on the same page." He says and the silence resumed.

We finally reached his care and were set to go before he got a phone call.

"Hey....yeah....I'll be back soon babe...haha I know...I love you too baby." He hangs up and I stare out the window trying not to let that get to me.

"You hungry?" He askes

I nod and he takes off to who knows where but he always knows the best places to eat at.

"Hi I'm Ashleigh your waiter for today." I would've responded but her entire outfit had me hooked. Is this the dress code? Apparently it had Daniel hooked to for all the wrong reasons of course.

"I'll have fried shrimp and a coke." i say
"I'll have the same." He says as he stares at her breast. I hope he doesn't start talking to another girl.

"Be right back." She says smiling at Daniel seductively, we couldn't have gotten a dude?

"You okay?" He asks

I just simply nod in response. Hopefully we get out food soon.

"Look I don't want things to be awkward between us."

"I have a question." I say, a question that I need an answer to.

"Yeah?"

"What would you have done if I were pregnant because honestly now that I'm putting all the pieces together it seems as if you just wanted sex. A fuck, nothing more no love just the twisted truths that could get me out of my underwear and lose my most purest possession."
