Loreen had never felt more grateful for moving to OBX with her family the week after finally settling in. Her days were spent constantly surfing on the nearby beach, occasionally meeting up with Kiara if she was available, assisting her parents with some paperwork, and eventually making dinner at the time. The girl had also gotten to know her other neighbors, such as Sarah and Rafe, who are her age, so she was pretty excited to finally meet someone other than Kiara with whom she could hang out.

Kiara was very nice to the girl, and they quickly formed a special bond because of their common interests and ability to relate to each other so well. It was something that brought them both joy. This morning, the blonde woke up to the smell of freshly cooked food wafting through her room, as well as some Italian music on her mother's radio. She wished that mornings like these might have lasted forever. The girl had finally made her way down to the kitchen after putting on a new red bikini that was flattering her curves in the most epic way and blue denim shorts together with a bralette top over it. She found her mother and father slowly dancing to the song that was playing in the background. Lori despised interrupting them in such moments, but her presence was unfortunately just enough to do so.

'Good morning, amore mio. How did you sleep?' asked her mother as she approached her and embraced her in a big hug.

'Not bad, I see you two woke up pretty happily today,' Lori said smiling, hugging her mom back and walking over to her father, kissing his cheek, 'Morning, Pops.'

'There she is, my little girl,'  her dad says. 'Not so little anymore, Steve,' said the girl's mom, prompting her father to correct him. 'She'll be 17 this year, she's practically a young adult.'

'Oh, okay, alright, I'm giving up,' her father said, making Lori laugh before taking some cheese from the plate and her CV from the living room table.

'So, I'm going to bring my CV to Mr.Mike, and I was thinking about hanging out with Kiara there if you don't mind?' the blonde asked, making her mother nod and say that she wants her to have a good time. She greeted her parents before leaving and getting into her car.

Her drive to The Wreck wasn't so long, especially since she was listening to her favourite playlist so she enjoyed the ride. Lori parked in front of the restaurant and went inside. It was fairly crowded, which was not surprising given that it was Saturday and she had already braced herself for a large crowd. After asking the waitress for Mr.Mike, she leaned against the bar, waiting for him to hand over her CV and thank him for allowing her to work there; she was grateful for everything the Carrera family had done for her and her family.

Kiara finally approached her in a harsh manner after she had finished with Mr.Carrera, which scared the blonde. 'Oh my Gosh, Kiara, you scared the hell out of me.' She said with a slightly shaken voice while laughing it off.
