The day of the first task had finally come. Aurora practically ran to the champions tent, she couldn't help but feel worried about Cedric. She seemed to be more worried then Cedric himself, and he was the one going up against the dragon.

She knew he could handle himself. They had practiced all different kinds of spells, and he was good at them. Though no kind of preparing could stop her from worrying about his well being. That's why she's practically running to his tent, yelling sorry to every person she bumped into.

When she finally saw one of the entrances to the tent she didn't even notice another person heading straight for it. That was until she felt a body collide with hers, almost sending the person straight to the floor. Trying to catch them before they hit the floor was pretty unsuccessful, resulting in Aurora being brought down with them.

Landing on them with a groan, knocking the wind out of her as she tried to regain her breath. Once she felt herself stable again she relaxed, before finally realizing who she was on top of.

"Hermione? Oh my god. I'm so sorry, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, it didn't hurt too bad," she responded with a soft smile. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Aurora said, smiling down, an overwhelming feeling filling her chest as she looked at the girl below her. The two girls almost forgot where they were, and the position they were in before the curtain of the tent pulled back, and revealed and extremely confused Harry, who had heard the commotion.

A flash of light came from behind, it came from a camera. And of course it was Rita Skeeter and her camera man, who Harry shot a glare at before helping the two girls up. "You two alright," he asked, the two girls nodding in response.

Aurora quickly excused herself from the two as she spotted her brother. As she gave him a hug another flash went off, and she looked back to see Harry and Hermione pulling away from each other awkwardly. Aurora looked away, an unfamiliar feeling bubbling in her stomach.

"You okay?" Cedric asked, noticing the look on his sisters face.

"I'm the one who should be asking you that. Are you alright, you think you can do this?"

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine. Just a bit nervous that's all, but I think that's alright considering I'm about to face a dragon," he whispered to her.

She smiled at him, "Just do what you always do and pretty soon you'll be the new Triwizard Champion."

The siblings embraced each other one last time before Dumbledore began calling the champions over, and Aurora made her way out of the tent, Hermione following after her.

"Would you like to sit with me? I mean not just me, Ginny as well, and Ron."

"Yeah of course," Aurora said, quickly bringing a smile to the younger girls face. "Is it alright if I call Andrea and Hannah over?"

The two began walking over, Aurora calling the two girls over as they passed.

The first task was now over, each champion successfully retrieving a golden egg from each of their dragons. The entire time Aurora was filled with worry for her brother, unable to stop herself from thinking of the worst from happening.

Some of her worries were put at ease when she felt a hand rest on top of hers, and the younger girl giving her a reassuring smile before both girls began blushing wildly.
