the ride back home was filled with silence and anger so no one said a word ,"Just come in and sit down " mom told us as we walked in the diner "Thank you so much Jeannie I'm sorry we're late " mom said to her boss "no problem, honey , how was the game ?" She asked but we all stayed quiet "that good , huh?, I'll close out " She said as I sat a seat away from Charlie taking out my homework since I had nothing better to do "listen I'm taking the bus home , I'll see you guys later " Charlie said getting up "uh , no, sir, You sit over there , and you do ur homework like y/n , I just watched you jeopardize your hockey career i will not let you do it to your studies " mom spoke as Charlie scoffed "you have no idea what it's like playing for that guy " he replied "I don't care who your coach is . Your behavior out there was juvenile " mom spoke "well , yeah because Coach Orion-" Charlie started as mom cut him off "because coach Orion" nothing . You used to feel the same way about bombay , remember?, I think the only thing that needs to change around here is ur attitude " Mom said "what?" Charlie said in disbelief "oh give me a break" he said annoyed , I watched him walk out and I just looked down to the floor.
