"Alright I've been doing my homework on the varsity,I'm not gonna lie to you , they're good , the way they wiped ur faces in the dirt last time was no fluke " coach said to us as we started to skate on the ice "so if you want ur pride back , you better be willing to work,there's nothing glamorous about it in the pros , we call it blue-collar hockey,now there's one thing the varsity does very well . They're vultures around the net they pick up every piece of loose trash ,that's how they beat you not with the first shot , the second and third they bang in the junk , so if you wanna win ur gonna have to pick up trash "coach says as he dumped a bunch of trash on the ice and we all just looked at it "whew man" Russ said covering his nose and I did the same letting out a "aw man!" ,"have any cream cheese?" Averman said picking up an old bagel as I laughed .
"Come on ! Who's that?" Charlie yelled as we all kicked the trash with our hockey sticks "come one , come on!" "Clear the bagel out" is what we were saying as coach threw us the trash ,"Who's there ! Who's there?" Coach said "Julie the cat , nice save !" Coaches told her as she saved the trash from going in the net.
We skated around the town picking up pieces of trash from the ground and into a trash can "come on ! Throw that garbage in there !"coach said as he picked up a trash can "yes, whoo!" Averman said as we put the trash in the can"All right looks like this place is pretty clean!" Julie said "get up , get up !, come on ! On the net!" Charlie yelled we all stopped as coach blew his whistle ,"LETS GO ,GET OVER HERE!" Coach yelled as we all skated to him "grab a knee " he said as we all took a knee "You guys are not skating like warriors!"he yelled as I mumbled a 'what' ,"you look like something else " coach said as I was now confused "you look like ducks! " he said as my heart started to race and a smile went up my face , he pulled out our duck jerseys "Robertson " he said and threw Dwayne his jersey as we all cheered and grabbed our jerseys .
