Stepping quietly over the bloodstained hills, a lone figure steadily made his way toward a large pirate ship docked at the coast. A sword lay in his hand, with the engraving "Ianite's Rapier" on one side, and "Vengeance" on the other. The hilt had an engraving of scales in a purple crystal.

CaptainSparklez POV
Those pirates. Unworthy followers of Justice. As soon as they see the leader of the cause gone, they immediately abandon her principles, turning to material wealth.
Skipper Redbeard. A kind man, and a great helmsman. Very protective of family. Usually drunk. Ex-follower of Ianite.
Captain Capsize. A brave and fearless woman. My first love in this realm. A brilliant swords-woman. Ex-follower of Ianite.
Two people I used to trust, even love. But that was the past.
Stepping onto the deck, I looked around at the hundreds of crates, filled to the brim with riches, cannons loaded and pointed at the fortress of Mianite. I guess Tom has the highest bid.
Hearing voices coming from the captains quarters, I knocked on the door, sword in hand. A familiar face answered.
"Hello Capsize! Just wanted to come by and say hi to my girlfriend!" I said with false cheer.
"Hello love, come in, come in! We were just counting up my profits," Capsize said. And to think I loved this woman.
While being ushered inside, I flung out my sword. Being lighter than the usual sword, it cut a wide arc in minimal time. A thin red line appeared across her stomach, the purple blade now tinged with red. The wound was nothing fatal, merely an initiator.
"What is the meaning of this treason Sparkly one?!" Redbeard roared.
"You have betrayed the goddess. There is no room in this world for traitors," I hissed.
"Then so be it." said Capsize, drawing her broadsword with Redbeard in sync.
In a surprise attack, I lunged at Redbeard, catching him off guard. He dodged to to the side, but not quickly enough. The thin blade still glides through his arm, thick red blood pouring from the wound. Growling, Redbeard charges at the Captain, only for his sword to hit what seemed like an invisible barrier around him. Where the blade hit, purple sparks flew.
"What is this witchcra-" Redbeard started but never finished. Sparklez rammed the sword into his chest up to the hilt. Blood trickled from the corner of the helmsman's mouth before he dropped to the floor, dead.
Turning around, Sparklez blocked an overhead blow from the enraged pirate captain, and countered with a punch to the ribs. With a quick swing he disarmed the injured captain, knocking her blade across the room, before kicking her into the corner.
"Why matey? I thought *cough* you loved me?" She asked, coughing up blood.
The figure raised his sword, positioned to stab through her heart, before saying a single word, "Revenge."

Tucker POV
Sonja and I finally got enough diamonds and gold to top Tom's bet, and now we can win this war!
"Hello? Capsize? Redbeard? Anyone home?" I called out.
"Maybe their in the captains quarters?" Sonja suggested.
"Worth a shot," I said.
Pushing open the door, a gasp could be heard from me and a muffled scream from Sonja. The walls were covered in blood, Redbeard's limp body leaning against the wall. He was obviously dead. Capsize wasn't any better. She was slumped in the corner, blood dripping from the hole in her chest. Written on the wall in presumably their blood was the simple message: "You're next, lovebirds. "
