Pizza & Pumkin carving

- Third person -

"Ok where are we going to eat liam?" "I'm searching for places right now." Liam replied whilst tapping on his phone trying to find a good pizza place to go to.

"Oh ok this one has good reviews." "What's it called." Theo asked with his one hand on the wheel and the other ready to type the place into the gps. "Romano's pizza." Theo moved his eyes to the gps and typed in the restaurant name.

Theo and liam talked the whole way to the restaurant theo even laughed once which left Liam a little bit shocked but overall happy that Theo was easing up around him. Theo and liam got out of the dark blue truck and went inside the amazing smelling pizza place at least liam thought it smelled good, Theo scrunched his nose at the smell.

"Do you not like pizza, we can go somewhere else if you want." Liam asked. "I love pizza just hate the smell." "That's weird theo I hope you realize that." "Why thank you." Theo smiled at liam before turning to the lady behind the counter. "Can we get one pepperoni pizza with two waters please." Theo told the lady. "Ok you can just place your card in there" she said pointing to the card reader. Liam got out his card from his wallet, and paid for the two's meal.

Both boys started making their way to the booth to wait for their pizza and waters.

The waters came almost instantly the pizza took about 15 minutes to arrive at their booth. "So why haven't you gotten a job, you know so you could pay for an apartment." "Finding a job isn't as easy as it seems liam." "I could help you, maybe deaton would even let you work at his place." "Doubtful" Theo glared at liam before taking another bite of his slice pizza. "I didn't mena to upset you I just wanna help you theo." "Well maybe I don't want your help liam!" Theo yelled causing the people at their table to stare at the two boys.

Liam and Theo didn't talk much after that just finished their pizza and got ready to leave. Theo went to grab the keys off the table but liam beat him to it. "Liam give me the goddamn keys!" " only after you go apply to a job here."

"What do you mean?" "This place is hiring you should go apply." "Liam, no" Theo rolled his eyes at the thought of him working here. "Theo please." "..Fine if I apply you'll give me my keys back?" "I promise." Theo rolled his eyes yet again before getting back up and walking over to the counter. Liam smiled proudly.

Liam and Theo made their way back to the truck so they could go back to Liam's house. "Can I drive." Liam asked Theo hopefully. "Why in the world would I let you drive liam?" "Because." "You don't have your driver's license Liam" "I have my learners permit though" "Liam-"

"Please theo I'll go really slow, and I promise I'll be careful." Theo took a deep breath and rolled his eyes. "Fine, but if you wreck my truck I swear to god I will beat the shit out of you." Liam smirked "I thought you didn't believe in god" Liam had a smug look on his face as he held out his hands waiting for theo to give him back the keys. "You know what I changed my mind." Theo retracted his hand and climbed into the drivers seat." "No theo I'm sorry please let me drive."

"No." Theo started the truck and Liam hopped back into the passenger seat and gave theo a side glare. "You can glare at me all you wnat but I'm not letting you drive Liam." "You're an asshole."

It didn't take long for the two to get back to Liam's house. When they pulled into the driveway he noticed his parents cars weren't there. Liam opened the passenger side sorry and hopped out. Theo put the truck in reverse. "WAIT! where are you going?" "To find somewhere to park for the night." Theo responded. "No! at least come in and help me carve the pumpkin." "No liam." "You can stay the night on the couch in my room if you help me." Theo took a minute to think before turning the truck off and taking the keys out. "Fine but after this we go back to ignoring each other, deal?" "Deal." Liam smiled.

They both went into Liams house and made their way to his kitchen. Theo grabbed the carving knives while Liam washed the pumpkin off. "We should probably do this on the deck so we don't have a big mess to clean up after we're done." "Ok then let's go." Theo said.

"How do you want to carve it." Theo asked as he laid down a tarp. "Can you cut around the stem out for me theo?" "Fine give me the knife." Liam picked up one of the silver carving knives up from the wrong end and accidentally cut himself. "Shit shit shit." Liam dropped the knife near his feet. Theo looked up at liam and saw blood dripping down his hand. Theo had worry on his face liam could tell. "I'm ok." Liam told Theo as he grabbed a few paper towels from the roll and placed it over the cut. He grunted as it burned to put the dry paper towel on the open wound.

Theo walked over and grabbed the back of Liam's hand to get a better look at the cut. "Move the paper towel liam." Theo demanded. Liam followed theos instructions and removed his hand and the paper towel away from the cut. "Damn that's a big cut we should go wash it off come on." He turned liam around to face the door and told him to open it while he grabbed the knife Liam cut himself on and brought it to the kitchen too. Liam turned the sink on and put his hand under the water. Theo put the knife next to the sink and moved closer to Liam from behind. Liam could feel Theo breathing on his neck which definitely didn't help with his crush on the chimaera, Liam badly wanted to turn around and kiss Theo. "Theo you're kinda close." Theo noticed there was only a few inches between them and backed away. "Sorry, is your hand ok?" "I'm fine, can you go cut the top off the pumpkin now, I'll clean off the knife and wrap my hand then I'll come back out." "Ok sure."

It took a few minutes but Liam was back out on the deck in no time. "Okay now that you're back what do you want this guy to look like." "I was hoping to make him look like jack skellington." "Who is that?" "Theo you've got to be kidding me, you've never seen the nightmare before Christmas." "Nope never." "We are so watching that before or on Halloween ok?" "Liam we said after tonight we would forget about each other..remember?"

"I know, I'm sorry I forgot." "Maybe we could watch it tonight." Theo suggested. "I would like that." Liam smiled.

Liam pulled a picture of jack skellington up on his phone to show Theo. "Ew he's ugly man." "Yeah whatever this is who I want to do so this is who we are doing." "Fine you get started I'm going to find a candle." Theo said.

"Okay there are battery powered ones in the third drawer from the fridge." "Okay I'll be back try not to cut yourself again." Theo laughed. " Asshole." Liam muttered to himself. "I heard that!" Theo yelled back from inside the house. Liam scoffed and started carving jacks mouth into the pumpkin.

It took awhile for Theo to find the candle and the battery's then put it all together so by the time he got back liam only had one eye left to do. "It looks good so far but hurry up with that last eye I'm tired and ready to go to bed." "You can go ahead upstairs if you want." "I'm gonna help clean up so hurry." "Thank you." Liam said awkwardly he felt bad about making Theo help with everything but it was to late.

Liam was moving to slow with the last eye and started falling asleep while standing so Theo took the knife from him and took over. "Go upstairs and lay down liam I'll finish the pumpkin then we can both clean up tomorrow okay?" "thanks theo."

Liam went upstairs took off his shirt and changed into his pajama pants. He laid down and waited for Theo.
"Hey are you asleep?" Theo whispered trying to get a better look at liam though it was hard to see his face in the dark. "I was close but not anymore." "Sorry I just need to borrow some pants." "There's some in the bottom drawer." "Thanks."

Theo settled in on the couch with a blanket and pillow liam threw at him.

"Hey Theo." "Yeah liam." "Sorry we didn't get to watch the movie tonight." Theo looked over to Liam even though he couldn't see him in the dark. "Maybe another night." Theo smiled.

Even though Liam couldn't see Theo he somehow knew he was smiling which made him smile back. "So does that mean we are friends?" "I don't know, do you want to be friends?" "I asked you first Theo." Theo looked up at the glowing stars on Liam's ceiling still smiling.

"Yes liam we can be friends if you really want."
