Both boys are in Liam's room playing video games. "So shopping went well yesterday." Theo said with no specific tone in his voice. "Really!" Liam asked excitedly. "No dumbass, why would you tell them where I work?!?" "Because they needed food." "Now stiles is gonna start showing up to mess with me." "How would he mess with you." Liam turned off  the game and turned to Theo. Theo scoffed. "I was winning the game liam, you can't just turn it off." "My tv, my controller, my game, I can do whatever I want." "Fine then I'm going for a shower." "Wait theo, you never answered me." "What Liam?" "How would he mess with you." "If he comes to my work and says crap aboyt me I can't say anything about him back or I could get fired, I'll have no defense." "Oh."

Theo quickly finished up in the bathroom so it was gonna be Liam's turn. " hey li I'm gonna go get breakfast I'll be back." "Did you just call me 'li'?" Liam asked. "No."
Theo grabbed his keys and hopped in his truck started it up and pulling out of the driveway.

Theo entered a nice looking coffee shop named Valentina's. He went up to the counter and placed his order. They told him to wait wherever and they would call his name when his pastrys and coffee was ready. He turned and looked at all the tables trying to find one to sit and wait at. He spotted Derek sitting at the table kn the corner. He walked over. "Can I sit here for a sec." Derek looked up to see who it was, after a minute or two of examining Theo he bobbed his head up and down giving Theo the ok.

"Do you come here a lot?" Theo tried to make conversation. "Yeah." Derek answered unamused. "You don't seem to like me very much." "I don't, you killed Scott why would I like you." "I don't know, I don't even know why Liam is friends with me." "Cause you're there for him, that's the only reason the pack tolerates you being around." Theo shifted in his seat then heard his name yelled out. "That's me I'll see you later I guess." He told Derek.

He went up to the counter and grabbed the two pastries one for Liam and one for him along with a plain black coffee also for him. He made his way towards the door then heard his name said with a whisper The only reason he heard is because of his werewolf hearing. He looked over to Derek which is where he heard the whisper of his name come from. Derek was looking at him. Theo walked back over to him and set his things on the table and sat on the tall chair once again. "Why don't you stay and drink your coffee here, it would be better for two people of Scott's pack to give you the ok right?" "Yeah, sure let me just text Liam and tell him."

Theo: hey Liam I'm going to be a bit late.

Liam: why?

Theo: is that any of your business

Liam: whatever just try to be home as soon as possible I'm starving.

Theo: you have a whole kitchen go get a snack.

Liam: don't feel like it I haven't been feeling good

Theo: your a werewolf you're fine, go get a snack.

"So are you staying?" Derek asked. "Yeah liam was just being a baby." "Like usual." Derek laughed lightly. "Sooo what did you wanna talk about?" "I don't know, Liam said you worked at a pizza place...how's that going." "It's going ok, the manager is a bitch but it's ok."  "Where are you living right now?" "With Liam I guess I mean I've been staying there for a bit." "That's nice of him to let you stay there." "It is, That's why I make him breakfast every morning." "Do you plan on going back to school?" "No there's no point im just gonna try to find a good job after working at the pizza place." "Speaking of the pizza place how long do you plan on working there?" "I don't know I guess when Liam goes to college or a little before then I'll get a serious job." "So it depends on liam?"

"I mean I guess, he is like my only friend right now, can't lose him. "Are you sure he's just a friend? The way you guys are it doesn't seem like it." "What do you mean?" "Do you like liam, like..like like." "No." "You sure?" "He's just my anchor that's it." "He's your anchor?!?!" "Yeah and I'm his...I think." "That's something you two should talk about." "I really don't think so." "Theo." "Alright fine I'll talk to him about it." "Good you need to." "I said I will." Theo laughed a long with Derek. "I should go, liam said he was hungry." "Ok I'll talk to you later." "Hey wait" Theo turned back around to Derek. "Can I get your number so we can keep in touch." "Yeah." Derek scribbled his number down on a napkin then handed it over to the eager boy. "Thanks." Theo turned back to the door and left.

"Liam! I'm home! Where are you! okay I guess I'll just eat your pastry-" "don't you dare liam said reaching the last step in a towel. Water dripping down liam chest from his hair now reaching his towel, Theo looked him up and down a few time before liam could see Theo admiring his half naked self. "What did you get?" "I guess you'll just have to look in the bag and check." Liam walked over to the table where the bag of one pastry was home to. "Ooh this looks good." "I know that's why I got it for you." "Shut up asshole." Liam smiled over at theo and Theo smiled back at him.

"What took you so long at the cafe?" Liam asked taking a bite of his pastry. "I was just flirting with the hot baker who gave me all this for free." "Oh." Liam said sounded a little upset. "I'm kidding I ran into Derek." "Oh!" Liam said this time sounding more shocked this time. "And you guys talked?" "I got his number liam so yes we talked." "Wow He doesn't give just anyone his phone number you must have made an impression." "Wow lucky me." Theo said sarcastically.

"Can we go to the movie theaters later and find a movie to watch." Liam asked. "Cant, I have to work why don't you ask mason?" "Mason spends all his time with Corey now." "Mhm, what about your other friends." "Theo outside of the pack the only friend I have is you." "That's sad." "Thanks." Liam said sarcastically. "also why not just ask someone in the pack." "They're all to busy for me, and now so are you." "Hey I'm never to busy for you. If I have time to watch an episode of something do you wanna do that." "Really!" Liam said excitedly. "Sure go find something while I go change."

(I realized I switched up the way derek felt abt Theo from the other chapters so just go with he didn't like him till now bc I don't feel like fixing it)
