It was 5:30AM on a cold Monday morning and Serena had just gotten up to get ready for her first day as a trainee at JYP Entertainment. She did her usual morning-routine - she ate breakfast, showered, put on some comfortable clothes and did her makeup. Her house was pretty far away from the company, so she had to take the train at 6:38AM to get there on time. She checked herself out in the mirror on her closet one more time, said goodbye to her mother, who was the only one awake and at home, and left for the train station. After entering the train, Serena started checking her phone only to find 4 missed calls and 26 unread messages from her friend Mel. She instantly called back:

S:"Brotha what the fuck."

M:"I WAS TRYING TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T OVERSLEEP I ALWAYS DO THAT. "

S:"AH JA I actually got up on time."

M:"Congratulations, I'm waiting for you in practice room nr.4, right next to the men's toilet on the 2nd floor."

(Side Note: I have no idea what I'm talking about idk what the building looks like from the inside so kindly take my bullshit)

S:"Ok, I'll be there."

M:"Don't get abducted by JYPapi."

(TIMESKIP)

Arriving at the last station, Serena put her phone back in her bag and left the train. And there she was, standing in front of the huge company building, a building where dreams come true. She was right on time, as she had promised Mel to be there at 7AM, so she still had 5 minutes left to find the practice room she was supposed to meet her at. Entering the building she could instantly feel the nervousness overtake her. It was huge and looked like something only celebrities should be allowed to enter. It looked just like those fancy agencies in every K-drama, but even better. After taking some deep breaths and pulling herself together, she finally started walking towards the elevator to get to the 2nd floor, where Mel was waiting for her. Even the fucking elevator looked fancy. The new trainee got into the elevator and pushed the button for the 2nd floor. The door opened and without moving, she could already see the men's toilet, so she entered the hall and started walking in the direction of the toilet, seeing a room labeled "4" right next to it. There was music coming from inside it, to be exact "Crazy" by 4Minute. Upon entering the room, Serena was expecting to see Mel practising, but instead, that bitch was playing HayDay on the floor, and hadn't even noticed her friend entering.

S:"Have you given up on your dream already? It's only the 1st day."

M:"I WAS EARLY AND DIDN'T TECHNICHALLY HAVE TO DO ANYTHING OK."

S:"BRUDER THEN WHY DID YOU COME IN EARLY?"

M:"EXCITEMENT."

S:"Ok anyways, what's our job now? Did they assign us anything?"

M:"Yeah, the song that was playing when you entered. We got a version divided into 2 parts and have to learn the choreo. Oh and we're having a vocal coach come over at 1PM."

S:"Ok then show me the choreo and we'll get started."

And that's how their 1st ever practise as trainees began.

(2 HOURS LATER)

S:"Brotha I'm dying, give me a break."

M:"You wanna get food? I saw some fine lookin meat in the cafeteria."

S:"Well get up then we're getting meat."

M:"Can you go pls I feel like my legs are about to crumble."

S:"No the fuck you come with me, I don't even know where it is."

M:"1st floor, literally right next to the fucking reception."

S:"Why would I go alone?"

M:"Why not?"

That's when Zeren started dragging Mel to the door by her leg.

M:"OK FINE I'LL GO, STOP WIPING THE FLOOR WITH MY FACE."

S:"Ja.<3"

And then they stopped the music and took the elevator downstairs, Mel leading them to the cafeteria. 

M:"OMG BTW, since we're on a break now I can finally tell you about some stuff here."

S:"Brotha would you let me get my chicken first, plus, you came in the same day as me what have you seen that I didn't?"

M:"Well I was like an hour early."

S:"An hour?? Why??"

M:"Excitement."

S:"Ah yes, I forgot."

They sat down in the first row next to the buffet and continued on talking while enjoying their meals. 

S:"Ok so what did you wanna tell me?"

M:"BROTHA. THE GUYS HERE ARE SO FOGGIN HOT."

S:"Brotha are you serious."

M:"Yes that was my announcement goodnight."

[SERENA'S POV]

After Mel had finished rambling about the hot trainees, you 2 finished your food and she took the plates back, leaving you alone at the table. After she'd freed your field of vision, you could see a group of three boys walk in and head to the buffet. One of them had curly brown hair, the other two maybe slightly younger, one with really chubby cheeks and the other one visibly shorter than the other two. As they came closer you noticed they were all barely taller than your friend, who was still standing at the buffet staring at coffee. You didn't even realize you were gazing at them, until Mel turned around and decided to wake you up from your daydream.

M:"OOOH that guy's totally your type", she whispered, while sitting down next to you and placing two cups of coffe on the table. (ik you don't like coffee stfu)

S:"Huh, which one?"

M:"What do you mean which one obviously the curly hair."

S:"Meh."

M:"Shut up you always end up wanting to bang the ones you found unattractive at first."

S:"BROTHA SHUT."

M:"Nein<3. Anyways, the hot guys are gone, we can go back upstairs and continue practice."

So you left the cafeteria and started heading back to your practice room. As you were leaving the elevator you realized you'd forgotten your phone in the cafeteria and immediately turned around to get in again.

M:"I hope it was stolen."

S:"Shut up Hurensohn."

The doors opened and you low-key rushed into the cafateria, only to see the boy with curly hair sitting at the table you were previously sitting at, your phone in front of him. He didn't notice you at first since he was typing something on his phone. You began approaching him until he finally realized you were there. He instantly stood up and greeted you respectfully with a bright, polite smile on his face.

He saw the slightly confused look on your face and started explaining himself:"Hey so you're probably wondering why I'm here with your phone but I promise I didn't even touch it I just coincidentally had to return to the cafeteria for some food and noticed your phone lying there so I figured I would wait here until you come back for it since I didn't know where you went and thought you'd realize that your phone is missing quickly and-"

"Thanks a lot", you interrupted him, "it could've easily been stolen."

You give him a genuine smile, grab your phone off the table, slightly brushing against his arm, and turn around to leave the room, relieved that no one took your phone. Before exiting the door, you turn around one more time to face him.

"See ya, we'll probably meet again.", you said to him with a smile on your face.

You watched him grab some food as he turned his head and looked up at you.

"Probably.", he said in a shy voice as he was smiling back at you.
