The Strange life

-You were sitting in your bedroom, a book in hand as you moved your hand in a slow mystical movement, your purplish blue magic dancing across your flesh as your eyes scanned over the text. Peter was currently in school, your father was busy discussing the matters of the world with Wong, Natasha and the boys were all on a top secret assignment, Wanda and Vision were playing house, Bucky was tending the sheep, Shuri and T'Challa were consumed by blending their world with ours, Happy was off for a week long vacation to the Hawaiian islands, and Pepper decided that Tony was going to ignore his duties as a technological mastermind for one day. This left you to spend the entire day relaxing by yourself. However, that was quickly interrupted by a loud sound, almost sounding as though someone had fallen through your ceiling. Your eyebrow raised as you slowly set your book down, and rose quietly. Advancing towards your door you could already hear your father and Wong addressing the issue, and by the time you had reached the top of the stairs you heard Strange call, "[Y/N], you might want to call Tony."

"Why?"

"I think he will be interested to know that Bruce Banner just fell through our ceiling." He replied, looking up at the freshly created hole that was shining the mid morning light into the entryway. However at the mention of Bruce Banner you advanced down the stairs and looked upon his form, as he panted out, "Thanos."

"How long has he been missing again?" Wong asked as you leapt into the hole and hugged Bruce, a look of shock on his face as your arms engulfed him

"A little over two years, they built Ultron together, and then he disappeared in Stark's quinjet during the fight. She thought he was dead."

"Think she is going to call Tony, or..." Wong was cut off however with the sound of Bruce's gasp, as a blue gateway opened before him.

"My guess is no, she'd rather tell him in person." Strange smiled as you disappeared

-When you stepped through the gateway Pepper turned and glared at you, before she could even open her mouth you sighed, "I know, you didn't want me using any magic today to secretly see Tony, but I really think Tony is gonna want to see this."

"See what?" Tony asked, as you sighed, "Bruce is back."

"Bruce...as in...."

"Yes, Bruce, who disappeared over two years ago Bruce, and he has something to tell us."

"And how do I know that this is a real emergency, and not just the two of you sneaking off to build a hologram of the new renovations you want to make to the Enervation Intensifier?" Pepper smiled as she crossed her arms, a smile on your face.

"Firstly that wasn't the most recent deception, that was when we arranged a fake seminar about the importance of technological advances in college environments so that we could work on further developments with the Extremis 3.0 App, secondly, why don't you ask him yourself?" You asked as you moved aside to reveal Bruce standing behind you, both Pepper and Tony looked as though they had seen a ghost.

"Hey Tony." Bruce mumbled as he cautiously stepped through the gateway, "Did you know...?"

"That Strange was a wizard, yeah. Bruce, where have you been?" Tony asked as he advanced away from Pepper

"On the planet of Sakaar, in a tournament of champions. Tony, we have a problem though, and he is purple, ugly and huge."

"Is it the big guy's cousin or something?"

"No, much worse." You answered, as you looked at Pepper, "I am so sorry Pep, but I need him to..."

"No, you three go off and save the day, I'll just be sitting here, worrying about my husband and his magical best friend."
