-You had locked yourself away, refusing to speak to anyone as you muttered around the Sanctuary, your eyes scanning the small trinkets collected over the years, fingers tracing the spines of the thousands of books, all aged differently. Your robes replaced by the soft cotton of one of Sam's Air Force shirts, and a pair of denim shorts, your once clean hair, was now in tangles, and shiny from the grease that dry shampoo could no longer remove, your face natural, and grim as you sipped on vodka in a tea cup, and wandered lost in thoughts of your father and lover.

-All the team would try to contact you, however Steve would call you everyday multiple times, and leave lengthy messages for you, you listened to all of them.

-Wong would try to interact every once and a while, but was met with the silence, or the loud, annoyed sipping from your cup. Finally one day he muttered, "You think I don't know what is really in that teacup Strange, if you are going to waste your abilities, then at least choose something with flair."

-You just shot him a death glare and that afternoon disposed of all the vodka bottles. You spent the rest of the evening in your room, overlooking the abandoned city, and casting tiny strings of magic that danced subtly against the callused skin of your finger tips.

-Pepper was the only one you really spoke to during the whole ordeal, mostly through text.

-Hayward contacted you at one point, and an armored vehicle arrived at the sanctuary as you opened it in your robe, and fuzzy slippers, "If you are looking for him, I am not giving him to you."

"And why not?"

"He is not yours to take, he is a product of Stark Industries, and an Avenger. To try to take him would be..."

"He will be mine, Mark my words."

"Over my dead body." You hissed

-He came back the next day with a notice stating he could seize the corpse of Vision, it was signed by Pepper Potts.

-You didn't talk to her for a week

-One day however your phone rings, at first you wanted to ignore it, believing it to be Steve, trying to check up on you.... until you read the caller ID, "If this is about Vision..."

"Tony's alive." Was all she could get out before the phone slipped from your hand.

-You opened a gateway immediately, each person, except for Pepper, Happy, and Tony, looking surprised at the blue sparks that filled the air as you ran through the hole, and without a single glance at anyone else in the room, you raced into the arms of a frail Tony Stark, your grip tightened as you buried your head into the crock of his neck, tears flowing as his shaky hands reached over your back. The room watched in silence as you slowly pulled back, hands going to the sides of his face as you whispered the first words you had spoken to any other member of the team since Wakanda, "I thought I lost you too."

"Sweetheart, it is gonna take more than a snap to get rid of me." His smile was weak as you brushed his hair slightly, a smile spreading across your own face as you leaned forward and kissed his forehead lightly, and pulling him into another hug, his voice, which was barely a whisper, rang in your ear, "He gave it away."

-When you pulled back, your eyes fell to the floor and a shaky breath slowly slipped out of your lips. Knowing your father as you did, you knew he valued the safety of the stone, not even allowing you to touch it. The idea of him giving it away broke your heart, and made you question his motivation, which was a question you could never have answered.

- You lifted your head though when Natasha started to fill Tony in on the past 23 days, your eyes immediately met with images of everyone who had disappeared in the snap, "He did it... he did exactly what he said he was going to do."
