Nishikata is in his bedroom pacing around, planning everything out for this year's summer festival.
Nishikata: Ok, so, the summer festival of this year is coming up, and I wanna do things right this time!!! THIS time, I'll DEFINITELY bring my phone, and have Takagi-San bring her's too, that way if we ever get separated, then we can just simply call each other. And a few minutes before the fireworks show starts, I'll have me and Takagi-San go up to the top of those stairs so we can have a better view of the fireworks show, and we wouldn't miss a thing. Suddenly, Nishikata's phone starts ringing, It's from Takagi, Nishikata answers.
Nishikata: Hello?
Takagi: So, I'm at the clothes store right now looking for some new shirts, and I found this one, and I want to know if you think this will look good on me.
Nishikata: What kind of shirt is it?
Takagi: I'm sending you a pic right now
Nishikata then receives the picture of the shirt that Takagi has sent him, and the shirt is white with big black blotches on it, just like how cow fur looks.
Nishikata: *Shocked* WHAAA?????
Takagi starts laughing her head off
Takagi: Sorry, I just couldn't help myself after seeing that shirt and thinking about the cow me that was in your dream!!!
Nishikata: *inner thoughts - Darn you Takagi-San!!!*
Takagi: But anyway, how are you doing?
Nishikata: Oh, I'm doing okay I'm just pacing around. But.... I do have a question I wanna ask you.
Takagi: Oh? what's that?
Nishikata: Uh......
Nishikata feels a tiny wave of embarrassment, but then he realizes that if he wants to make this year's summer festival better than last year's, he needs to suck it up and take the initiative. The first thing he needs to do is invite Takagi.
Nishikata: ......So.... this year's summer festival........ wanna..... come with me?
Takagi: Oh sure, I'd love to :)
Nishikata: *excited* Sweet!!!
Takagi: *Surprised by his reaction* You sound like you got something planned.
Nishikata: Uh.... y-yeah, you might say that.
Takagi: *giggle* Well, I'm looking forward to it.... OH, I gotta go meet my mother at the registers, then we're gonna get some food on the way home, I'll see you soon Nishikata.
Nishikata: Alrighty, see ya. *hangs up* PERFECT!!!! And now we wait for the day of the festival...
