Like other little girls during their childhood, I'm also a victim of love stories from pocket books. I believed the words that are written in those damn books that love is magical.
I always imagine myself being treated well by a man who will always love me. But as I grew older, I realized that the world is different than the fiction I've read; even love is affected by the drastic change happening in our lives. I admit that I hated the concept of love when I saw my family and friends experiencing heartbreaks; being hurt by a stranger scared the shit out of me. I'm a hopeless romantic. I love the concept of love, but I'm also scared of the pain it might cause you at the same time.
