I miss you

Jay practically drags me into the hospital apparently dad requested it. "Come on Jay can't I just spend they day with you I'll be quiet we can say you got a case" he smirks at me "nice try kiddo but I rather not have my brother hating me for kidnapping his runaway" he mused practically dragging me inside the hospital.

My dad was pissed. He was pacing the doctor break room not speaking. "Why" "I missed you and Jay" I shrug looking around not missing him hold his nose. "Ok ok" he was breathing heavily "how did you even get here" "train" "your fifteen" "not stupid though you get on one train" I shrug my nonchalant attitude made it worse. His anger I mean. "Why would you even think that's ok" "I'm your daughter" I begin right as someone entered. They looked so confused looking between me and my dad "yeah you heard that right I'm his daughter even got the red hair to prove it" I said "just stay in here don't leave we'll talk about this at home" dad said walking out with the guy that walked in.

I was riding my skateboard just outside the hospital. Backwards and forwards, up and down the sidewalk. "Didn't your dad say to stay in the room" "yeah but I'm not exactly one to follow the rules...I'm Finleigh" "Connor work with your dad" I nod "he didn't talk about me did he" "no" "says a lot about a person" I nod "I'm sure it means nothing...yeah he just randomly left New York to come here" I said it was a moment later before he could talk that my phone went off "I should probably answer" I told him making him nod.

I sigh answering it "shark Finn" "you heard Jay call me like once" "so rumour has it you took the midnight train to Chicago" "oh yeah" "no I followed you on the cameras...personally loved when you waved at the camera to me" he said no doubt rolling his eyes. "Now your mums pissed at me claiming I taught you how" "of course you dad uncle Danny who else would have" I muse riding my skateboard again "she got a plane like five minutes ago" "you think she will forget if I get on a train back" "think she would beat you back and be even more mad" he told me "so where are you" "at the hospital waiting for dad to finish" "he left you Joey the only family you need is here in New York" I sigh "oh and Jay can join tell him I said hi" he adds I nod "I wanted to see him" "I know Joey" "I should go uncle Danny tell everyone I love them" I said "ok love you call soon ok" I nod having up putting it back in my pocket.

I sat on my dads couch he was fuming. Couldn't stop moving. He had been ranting about how I had to listen to him and all that kind of thing. "Why would I listen to you when I haven't seen you in forever you. Hell I seen Jay way more than you he comes to New York every few weeks. All you do is call" I snap making him stop. He was glaring at me he goes to speak but stops when someone knocks on his door "want me to get it" "just sit there" he snaps walking away opening the door "Finleigh outside" my mother snapped barging in "how did you even know I was here" "I rang Jay just go outside and stand with your uncle Jamie" "you brought Jamie" I said getting up and walking over hugging him tightly "now Uncle Danny didn't mention this" Jamie chuckles as we walk down the hall giving my hostile parents privacy. "You really scared all of us think we would have lost our minds if Jay hadn't of called" he told me passing my skateboard no doubt grabbing it before I launched on him as it was by the door. "We could go see him from the thirty seconds I was there it looked cool" Jamie just smirks at me "you you have been hanging out with Danny your going to get me in trouble" "at least you will have company" i said smiling innocently making him laugh wrapping his arm around me. "You know the way" "nope" I said popping the p. "Don't look at me like that I'm just as much as a New Yorkian as you" he just laughs following me as I begin to walk in one direction.

"You know I could google it" "no no I got this" I assure him looking around. "Told you" I muse riding my skateboard to the steps before running up to the front desk. "Sargent Platt" I greet her smiling "Finleigh" she nods "who have you brought" "oh my uncle Jamie were here to see Jay if that's possible" "I'll buzz you up" she said making me start jogging up the steps "you coming or not his up here" I exclaim making Jamie smile and nod.

"Thought my brother might have killed you" Jay said putting his coffee on his desk before walking over to us. He had just walked out of the break room "he didn't kill me but mum might kill him" I muse hugging him "Jamie" Jay greets "hope we're not interrupting" Jamie said looking around "so Erin's here" "yep probably screaming at dad as we speak so I thought why not show Jamie you" "oh I'm so grateful you made that sacrifice Finn" I laugh shaking my head he just laughs. "I get off in fifteen if you want to catch up" Jay told us "yep we'll be outside trying not to get lost" I said shrugging.

"Come on Finleigh" mum said making me look over "mum" "no I have to be in court this afternoon" she said making me nod and sigh "hey I'll come see you soon alright" Jay assured hugging me making me nod. "I love you shark Finn" he said kissing my head. Before I walk beside Jamie behind my mother through the rather busy Chicago airport.
