Chapter : 16 : Secret Love Affair

Chandler plays with her food while Veronica talks to Mcnamara of some sort of useless topic. Duke eating and listening.

The red clad girl didn't have the energy to talk out of exhaustion. She didn't get enough sleep last night from her overjoyed excitement causing her to sleep at four AM. The bags under the blonde's eyes were giving it away.

"-ther.. Heather!"

Chandler snaps out of her trance, turning her head towards the brunette.

"Drifting off to space?.."

Chandler raises a brow at the brunette. Veronica  smiles making Chandler's stomach flutter, giving her a little bit of energy.

"Geez, Heather.. When did you sleep last night?.."

Chandler thinks thoroughly, but ended up drifting off until Veronica nudges the blonde.

"Oh, It was probably.. Four in the morning.."

Mcnamara perks up in concern. Veronica seems to also get upset, but her chocolate eyes full of concern as well.

"Heather, you should sleep earlier than that! It's bad for your looks!"

Chandler rolls her eyes, eating her lunch and once again drifting off, slowly falling asleep, slamming her head causing the three to get startled. Veronica grabs a tissue, taking Chandler's chin to face her.

"For god's sake, Heather! You're covered in salad dressing!"

Veronica wipes Chandler's face. Veronica was surprised to know how squishy the girl's cheeks were, leading her to squeeze and stretch them. The red clad girl flinches in pain.

"Roni, you're hurting, Heather!"

"Ah! Sorry!"

The pinching and squeezing was enough for Chandler to be fully awake, rubbing her cheek in pain as she sulked. Duke laughs her ass off, only to get a glare from Heather Chandler.

Veronica glances at a figure, raising her hand, getting the girl's attention. Chandler turns her head to Veronica then, to the ransom person she silently called out to see. Courtney.

"Hey, Courtney! Lookin' good!"

Chandler's eyes widen, as her other eye twitches when a sudden vein popped up on her forehead, slowly turning her head to the oblivious Veronica. Duke puts on a lop-sided grin in amusement in seeing the girl's intense jealousy. Mcnamara starts to worry of what outcome is about to happen. Courtney raises a brow with a smile.

Cheap ass looking bitch.. She can go steal someone else's girlfriend, not mine.. I sense homo energy out of this bitch.. Chandler glares at Courtney who felt uneasy.

"Uh.. H-here are the notes.."

Veronica hums in confusion on why she looks uncomfortable. Veronica turns her head to her secret lover to see her glaring at her acquaintance. The brunette covers the blonde's eyes, quickly turning her head back to Courtney.

"Don't mind her.."

Veronica awkwardly chuckles at Courtney while the girl hands her, her notes. Veronica could feel holes burning through her hand from Chandler's intimidating glare.

"Okay, Vee.. We'll meet at my place.. You're on.. Drawing the diagram.."

"Got it!"

Veronica finger guns at Courtney. Veronica's acquaintance walks away, a perfect time for her to remove her hand off Chandler's face. The brunette is clearly upset.
