Black widow sat in the nursery, she could feel the soft warmth of the sand on her talons as she felt the sand that was carefully dumped into the nest only a few moons ago. In the nest there were three eggs, a large one to the right, a beautiful pattern of silver, gold and an almost sandy gray color. The middle one was about the same size as the larger one, but it was just a tad smaller so that is barely noticeable. The egg in the middle was silver with speckles of gold and black nearer to the bottom, the last one, the left egg, was golden with streaks of silver gently coating the egg shell. The left egg was leaning slightly away from the others, from the dragonet inside shuffling inside of the egg.

" __cpp="1" style="text-align: center;">Black widow's husband and mate, Asylum was not in the room- he was in the kitchen, butchering a skywing. Black widow stared at her eggs, smiling softly at them. She could barely see them, even if the room was well lit with the moons shimmering and glittering through the thick pine trees, it gleamed away as if they didn't have a care in the world. Black widow was blinded in her younger years by some spiteful and annoying hybrid, or was it a skywing? It was one of those she knew, she just wasn't sure what. Black widow ran a gentle and warm talon gently down the eggs, "Tonight should be the night." She murmured softly, a soft smile as she carefully ran her talon down the eggs again. Black widow got up and exited the room to find Asylum now by the fire, cleaning his pale talons of the blood of the skywing he had only just butchered up, the two of them could have a nice stew made from the skywing.

" __cpp="1" style="text-align: center;"> The head of the skywing was outside in a bush to be eaten by the bugs and other animals that might be interested in eating a skywing's brains. Black widow came up behind Asylum and gently pressed a kiss to his head as she gently rubbed his shoulder. Asylum turned his head and slightly smiled, pressing a kiss back to Black widow before smothering her in affection as she moved around him to sit beside him. Asylum smiled, "How are our eggs?" He asked softly, "Good, I think they might hatch tonight under the moons- I don't think we will be getting any sleep while we wait for them." Black widow replied as Asylum carefully entwined his tail to hers, being careful at her barbed tail that held terrible poison. If Asylum was ever pricked, they had grown some of the cactus that held the antidote.

" __cpp="1" style="text-align: center;">Black widow leaned up against Asylum and closed her eyes with a soft sigh, "We'd need to stay in the nursery for the night then." She murmured against his cooler scales. As a sandwing, she radiated soft heat that Asylum enjoyed, especially in the winter. Asylum grumbled as he pressed another kiss to her head. Black widow slowly got up, untangling their tails gently, "Come on dear." She said with a small smile as she went through their home, going to the room next to their bedroom and into the large room with lots of windows and a gentle looking artwork decorated room. Asylum went over to check the eggs and saw one already had a crack- he softly gasped at the crack, he ran a talon gently along the crack to confirm it was a crack. "You were right dear- the largest one to the,, right has already begun to hatch, it's gotten a crack already." Asylum said as he walked over to black widow, pressing another kiss to her head excitedly

" __cpp="1" style="text-align: center;">"Really?" Black widow asked as happiness glimmered brightly in her foggy golden and black eyes. Asylum nodded with a small half grin and a half smile. "We're going to be parents Black widow." He said excitedly as a crackling noise rang through the room as another large crack and then- suddenly a tiny talon poked out of the eggshell and was waved slightly. Asylum gently shook black widow who listened to the soft noises of the tiny talon pushing the tough eggshell. Black widow had a smile on her face, a happy smile instead of a smile dripping with malice and blood- literally. Blackwidow carefully moved forward towards the small dragonet who was pushing forward, stretching into the moonlight weirdly with their small talon, before the dragonet completely fell into the world, the egg falling with it. Blackwidow carefully scooped the dragonet up and out of the shell, rubbing the sand off of him. "Tarantula is a fitting name, don't you think so?" Blackwidow said to asylum who nodded, "Perfect name." He added back lightly.
