As I placed my bag down on the floor at the side of me, I couldn't help myself from watching josh as he talked to the teacher to find out where to sit.

His brown hair was made of scruffy waves in the form of a fringe. His deep brown eyes focusing on every word that was said to him. After a few moments, I noticed his jaw tense as he got annoyed at the amount of rambling the small woman was doing.

Eventually, he turned and walked to the seat he was assigned to, which was coincidentally, right in front of mine. I hurriedly scrambled to get my book out of my bag before the lesson started, and tried to focus on my maths work, instead of Josh.

As the bell rang for the end of the day, I stood up out of my seat and grabbed my bag. I was just about to walk out of the door as I felt a warm hand on my arm. It was Josh.

''Hey. I was just wondering, why don't you come to mine tonight? We can get to work on our drama piece?'' He asked, smiling crookedly as he did.

''Um, I guess that could work.'' I replied. I didn't want to sound too eager but the new boy standing in front of me intrigued me.

''My parents are out until after tea, so there's no one in to distract us.'' He assured.

We set off walking and before long, we reached his house. It wasn't the exactly a small house, but it managed to look more like a home than mine ever had. My mum had a thing for modernising everything until it was no longer a home. Just a house.

''Here we are'' he smiled. He opened the door and lead me into the front room.

''Drink?'' I heard him say, already on the way to the kitchen. I nodded and looked around. There were pictures on the walls of him and his sister, who seemed to be considerably older than him. There was a large mirror right in the middle of them, which I used to quickly adjust my hair.

Josh came walking in with two drinks and handed me one and we got to work.

After about an hour of deciding the script for our short play, we decided it would be best to take a break.

''So, what do you do for fun around here?'' I asked, referring to the fact that he lived pretty far away from everything.

''Well, I read a lot? If that counts as fun?''

I nodded in agreement. ''Yeah, readings fun''

He walked over to the tv hung on the wall and turned it on. I stared at him the whole time in amazement. I had never noticed how strong he looked until he reached above his head to get the remote off the shelf.

"Dvd?" He asked.

"Only if I get to choose" I winked. I stood up to examine the shelf of DVDs he had at the side of the big screen. He had a lot of comedy's and horrors, but one struck my eye straight away.

"Really?" He said as I held up the case for him to see "of all the films I own, you choose to watch a season of adventure time?"

His eyes rolled at me and I tried to look innocent.

"Could you go up and get the blanket off my bed? It's the first door on the left. I'm gunna make popcorn" he giddily ran into the kitchen and I heard the faint rustling of the microwaveable popcorn as I began to ascend the stairs.

His room was a typical guys room, only he had a full wall of books, sat on shelves. Guess he wasn't kidding when he said he reads lots. The ping of the microwave carried through the house and made me jump. I grabbed the blanket that was nearly placed on his bed and ran back downstairs.

He was already sat in the couch, bowl of popcorn in his hand, waiting for me to arrive. "Hurry up, I haven't seen this season yet, it's from America so they haven't showing over here." He rushed his words, showing he was exited. I had to admit, it was one of my favourite shows myself.

He pressed play and we both watched intently. After a few episodes, he paused it to get us another coke each.

"You remind me of lady rainacorn" he said as I followed him into the large kitchen.

"Why's that? Cause of my awesome flexibility" I joked.

"No' cause she's insanely random..."

I hit his arm, playfully. After a dramatic performance of how much I 'injured him' he stood up, looked me strength in the eye and said

"So that's how you wanna play" I stared at him for a moment confused as hell. I let out a squeal as , out of nowhere, he picked me up and ran through to dump me on the couch.

"Ticklish?" He asked. He already knew the answer to that from my facial expression. I don't think one person could ever be as ticklish as I am.

After about ten minutes of intense tickling and my failed attempts to fight back, he finally let me get my breath back.

"So, where were we?" He said calmly, pressing play on the dvd. Eventually, my panting slowed down and I was able to relax. I cuddled up to him, as I was still shivering under the blanket.

We stayed in the position until I felt my eyelids go insanely heavy and I dosed off...
