The Twins from Another Timeline

Summary:

Ash and Zachary (characters played by Tubbo and Ranboo in Tales of the SMP) get transported in time and into Snowchester where they meet Dream SMP's Tubbo, Ranboo, and Michael.

This request was not the same as the other requests that I have written in this oneshots book and contains little-known characters that Tubbo and Ranboo played in Tales of the SMP. But since this is a Beeduo Oneshots book I let this one slide since they did play these characters ^-^

This request is also the longest one I wrote so far containing 5k plus words. which doesn't seem much but it's a lot for someone like me it's almost longer than the separate book I've written that only had 6k plus words ._.

Note to Requester:

I wrote down all the things you included in your request and honestly ran into a lot of problems, the first was baseball and football because I don't play those games at all. But I managed to include it in the one-shot with a lot of research. The other problem was not knowing how to write sibling bonding stuff, I don't know if what I wrote is good enough but I tried my best. Some parts I honestly wish I can write better but since I'm not that good of a writer the things I wrote here are the things I am only capable of writing.

Footsteps echoed throughout the corridor as Karl made his way towards the wooden door, preparing his watch to return to his own time. The device on his palm had a complicated time system that served both its purpose and had an automatic lock when the bearer runs into trouble. The gears of time-released a click as they were rotated and locked in, the closer Karl approached the exit of Glatt's mansion time seemed to slow down. Arriving at the wooden door, Karl gave the device one last check and click before turning the knob, failing to notice two figures who were rushing towards him.

Karl pressed on the device and began his dive in time, his travel wasn't always pleasant and these trips messed with his memory in more ways than one. He clutched onto the notebook he had previously used and skimmed through them, averting his eyes from the warping and changing scenery he used to observe. The sound he could only hear was the faint ticking of the device in his pocket and the flipping pages of his notebook. But in his quiet trip in the tunnel, a sudden halt in time broke Karl's trail of thought making him look up and observe the time he stopped. Towering rocks and tall blades of colorless grass spanned until the horizon below there was no wind but the grass seemed to sway to the right. Pulling out the watch from his pocket, he gave it a little shake and the gears of time continued forward.

Unbeknownst to Karl, two anomalies had managed to enter his world a few hours before he did. Soft groans came from both twins as they slowly lifted their faces to the icy ground, bits of snow broke off and stuck to their faces as they tried to wipe them away. "Zach, where are we?" Ash looked at the long span of snowfield they were in and felt the cold bite of the midnight air. "I don't know Ash, but look." Zach pointed at the looming mansion in the distance, its glowing windows showed signs of life and warmth. His finger which he used to point was quickly pulled back for warmth.

In the distance Ash who had looked behind them noticed a man walking towards them, on his back was a large axe that was illuminated by the moon above, rope was tied over and under his shoulder used to carry tied dead rabbits. Ash and Zachary reached for each others' hands and felt their fingertips freeze. The stranger walked in front of them the close distance revealed the man's horns on top of his head, scars on his face, and eyes that stared at them in caution. "Can I help you?" The twins who weren't expecting the man to suddenly speak panicked and scrambled to state why they were there. "W-We don't know where we are, and we don't remember how we got here." Zach who was holding on to his twin brother's hand observed the stranger cautiously.
