Entry Number 0, Pacifist Timeline Number 1

The second subject activated her first RESET today. I am curious as to what she has planned for the little human regarding this creation of hers. Perhaps I am in for an interesting new route to this tale.

The first subject watched her work from the corner of this dark and dreary chamber. I could see his look of disgust and disdain towards her while she cheerfully orchestrated the start of this new timeline. He may not like it, but I've chosen to put my trust in her... for now. She is awfully childish at the prospect of being in charge of their lives now. I don't believe she fully understands her new role. Perhaps in time, she will grow accustomed to it and mature... though with that ridiculous face she makes, I highly doubt it.

I'll be needing these entries to take note of whatever intriguing details catch my eye in her new timeline. Perhaps our efforts to stop this glitch will finally be realized.

It all just happened like a bad dream. One second, screams had pierced through her ears with a sharp, ringing pain, and the next thing she knew: she was on the run from the place they used to call home. She could still hear the panicked screaming from the people of their town faintly in the distance, expressing the utter fear and superstitions they held about her true nature, but she shook aside those awful memories. She wouldn't dare let that distract her now. It wasn't important in this moment, all that mattered was not getting caught. She clutched the tiny hand of her little sibling tightly as she ushered them along with her. She didn't want to drag them along into her own problems, but they were so determined to stay by her side, she couldn't say no to them.

Just keep running, she continued to tell herself.

She turned and looked up at the mountain looming over, gazing down at them from a grand height. Mt. Ebott, the forbidden place that no human ever returned from. She had heard local legends of a civilization of monsters living underneath the mountain when she was just a young street-dweller, but she never believed any of it. Monsters were just creatures in fairytales designed to scare naughty children into listening to their parents, and not always for good reason.

The sudden thought crossed her mind. If they weren't just rumors… if monsters did live under the mountain, would she be able to fit in with them..?

If they really do exist, maybe I could finally find my place in the world… I wouldn't have to be alone anymore.

She immediately shook her head.

But I'm not alone now either. They are by my side… My precious sibling… A life I am always willing to cherish and protect.

She wouldn't dare risk the life of her younger sibling for her own selfish desires to finally fit in with the crowd, be it among humans or monsters. She didn't need that sort of love or companionship. If it was her destiny to be some nobody, let it be. All that mattered was staying alive in this world… for their sake.

"Frisk, just keep running! Let's try to lose them up on the mountaintop!" she shouted to her sibling.

Frisk nodded shakily, terrified of the situation they and their sister had gotten into. As they were being pursued by a few officers, the tiny human recollected how they had gotten themselves in this predicament in the first place. They knew that because of what happened that day in the square, the humans would fear their sister's existence so long as she lived, just because of something that was beyond her control... but everything they were saying about her was wrong! Their sister wasn't a horrible person, was she..? She had a reason to distrust them, a reason to isolate herself, and a reason to be so wary of other people. That's why she was running from them instead of trying to put up a fight... it had to be.
