The overconfident boy ignored her as he speed up, clos – uhh furtherly followed by max.

"Urggghh, the ear buds are broken" She sighed as she picked up the cracked buds.

"Oh no! DISASTER DISASTER DISASTER!" Marinette panicked.

"Calm, down, I will sit next you then"

"Thank you, Thank you! You are a hero Alya..."

Marinette sat on the bench, followed by Alya sitting on the next, but deeply looking at Marinette

"Uh, isn't Adrien with you?"Nino shrugs nervously.

Adrien was hiding behind the bushes with an earpiece, synced with Nino.

"Tell her you'll both be better off without me" Adrien told him in a hushed tone.

"We'll be better off without me" Nino repeated – not so meaningfully. 

Marinette was confused. What did he say? "Huh?"

Plagg pops out of Adrien's pocket, and curled around his hair. Adrien shushed him.

"Ah, this trip is turning out to be a lot more interesting than I thought. Turn up the volume!" Plagg laughed.

Adrien sighed.

"Um...Without him. I mean, we don't need Adrien to hang out at the zoo." Nino smiled weirdly.

"Of course, we do dumbo" Alya whispered, only Marinette hearing it.

"Of course, we do, you dum - I mean, wasn't he supposed to come? Don't you wanna wait for him?" Marinette said sheepishly, Alya suppressing laughter on the latter. 

"Tell her you want to be alone with her" Adrien whispered hurriedly, from the earpiece. 

"Not yet!" Nino whispered. 

"What was that?" Mari asked cutely. "You're right we'll wait." Nino smiled, not taking the cuteness overload.

"No! What are you talking about? Don't wait for me; I am not coming" Adrien hissed at him.

Nino stood there nervously.

"He sure is taking his time, huh? He's not coming, is he?" She asked a bit disappointed.

This is it Adrien brought up seriously "Repeat after me. Yes, he is, but first I wanted to take this opportunity to..."

"Tell you that I love you, Marinette" For some reason his heart started beating 30 miles per hour but pushed away.

"Tell you that I-- Gahhh... I... Love a girl that I don't know how to tell her!" Nino said bursting out.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Adrien hissed again.

"You do? Well, I can help you with that." Marinette spoke happily.

"You could?" Nino asked confused.

Alya whispered humorously "You, giving expert advice on how to tell someone you love them? Can't wait to hear this one!"

"cAn'T wAiT tO hEaR tHiS oNe..." Marinette whispered back to Alya mockingly.

"What?" Nino asked not sure whether he heard it right. It was at this moment he saw Alya on the other bench, in hearing shot. Must be here with Marinette.

"Oh, yeah..." Nino started sweating, profusely.

"Tell her it's you!" Adrien spoke in his earpiece quickly, hoping at least this time his friend would confess.

"I thought you said girl..." Marinette spoke dangerously.

"I -I was too scared to - - admit – it"

"Nino what the hell!" Adrien screamed into the earpiece

"Oh no" Alya and Tikki facepalmed and felt sorry for the poor boy who was about to dead in a few minutes.

"du......de what?" Nino said not believing at all, his crush, talking about her crush, which is his own best friend, who he told he was in love with, to his crush...

"I was right, this is interesting" Plagg laughed whole heartedly.

"IDIOT I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART, I LITTERALLY REJECTED NATHANEAL AND CHAT NOIR MILLIONS OF TIMES."

"Cha – chat noir?" Nino whisper shouted. CHAT NOIR LIKES HER TOO!

"Gurllll what?" Alya asked surprised, at her best friend for not telling her about almost dating a superhero.

I dooo? Adrien screamed. Why is she lying?

It was at that moment she knew she ----ed up. Marinette ran away, but obviously as bad timing hawkmoth has, an akuma appeared.

And ladybug had to deal with a confused, lovesick cat for the entire akuma. (Thinking about Marinette)
