"You don't actually mean that Zevlin." Elric said in disbelief. Zevlin couldn't possibly be thinking of leaving Aura in this state until her awakening.

"I do."

"Zevlin." Elric said furiously. He knew Zevlin had his rude and blunt moments but this was too far. Or perhaps he had grown attached to the innocent Aura that he felt so strongly against Zevlins words.

Far away, as the group of three drove on their long journey-a middle aged woman with short curly black hair and striking green eyes looked into a blue glowing orb that hovered above her pointer finger. In the orb she could see how Elric placed the spell on Aura and heard exactly what Zev had said afterwards.

"Those pieces of shits!" She screeched and clenched her fists tightly, making the orb disappear instantly.

She had been watching them the whole time, since the day Aura came in contact with Zev-the day that her spell broke to be exact.

"To think that another one of them was still alive..." She said while biting her long black nails nervously.

"I need to keep her safe. Yet to also think that other witch is the son of Caecilia...I must get to them," She had already been tailing them as well as keeping an eye on those who followed them, she opened the blue orb again and saw a large group of men armed with black guns filled with wolfsbane. "Before they do."

With a strong kick of her feet and a direct motion upwards of her glowing finger, the witch ascended into the sky and flew in the direction where she knew she'd find Aura.

With the speed that she was going at she would arrive in no time, she just hoped she would get there before any of the hunters arrived.

"Well, what did I expect?" She barked out laughter. Things never did go according to plan with her, her luck was terrible and she's tried several spells to fix that but they never worked, they perhaps made it worse.

Elise was known for her bad luck.

She placed the spell that prevented Aura from experiencing her awakening when she was a small baby. Elise believed that by doing so the hunters would never feel the need to hunt her down and kill her. But Elise didn't include in her calculations another beast still existing.

When she received notice of the broken spell that had lasted for years, she let out a piercing scream. All her hard work-down the drain. Or so she thought.

"Such a high level spell was broken just like that because of a Beast that was still alive." She remembered the pain of the spell being broken, the higher quality of spell and duration of time that it lasts, means more of her mana being used constantly and linking her energy to the other person she put the spell on.

Elise sighed, "at least I regained my mana back from that dormantè spell days later or else I would've made Elric suffer the consequences."

Witches have limited amounts of mana, when they cast a spell they need to break it in order to regain their mana back, it depends on how strong the witch is, they are able to cast multiple spells, or longer duration of spells simultaneously. But the spell that Elise had done on Aura was the first spell that she hadn't broken herself so once the spell did break, Elise had no way of knowing if her mana would return or not. Yet once her mana followed Elise's flow of energy then that's when the cup that was half empty became full once again.

She was strong but now-she is stronger.

Elise was now closing in on the trio in the truck, with a wide smirk she flew in front of them and landed on the hood of the car, making Zev slam on the brakes.

The screeching of the car and the smell of the burning tires filled the air...then it was silent. The three were now staring at each other, waiting for a person to move or to speak.
