Alluring scent of freshly lit candles woke Anthony up from his deep slumber. He rubbed at his eyes, propping himself up on his elbow on the bed, blearily looking around to find the source of the scent.

Finally his eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room and he was met with several candles ornamenting their room. He half smiled, wanting to see the creator of this beauty, who he was sure is just as beautiful. He waited for the most hypnotizing scent to ever exist. Lillies. His wife's.

His wait was cut short when the silhoutte of his beloved appeared behind the curtains. He smiled.

"Morning, my love." Kate's heavy, yet soothing voice lured upon the wind and travelled to his ear, blessing his morning.

"Morning to you too, my beloved." He noted with a slight bow of his head.

"Will you please now show me your gorgeous face? And brighten my morning more than the sun could ever?"

"Such a sweet talker you are." Kate tutted, making the man laugh heartily.

"Oh come on,"

"Your wish is my command, love."

The tone sent a shiver to run down Anthony's spine and he sat up straight on the bed. No matter how many times he had seen her face, he could never stop being amazed when she played a small game of face presenting like this. It always mesmerized him, it made him crave her more. It made his heart ache in anticipation.

His breath hitched when the caramel skin of his lover appeared from behind the curtains, a single lit candle in her hands, the ring he gave sitting upon her ring finger, shining brightly under the candle light. Her hair was loosely hanging over her back, like waves of an ocean, dark and deep charged with thousand  motions of love.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered breathlessly and the way her lips twitched at the corners didn't go missed by his exacted eyes.

"So are you." She replied with a hint of smirk in her tone.

She placed the candle on the nightstand before settling herself against her husband, one arm circling over his middle.

He nudged closer, brushing their noses together and inhaling the odor that reeked off her, his addiction, his mental relaxation.

"I love your smell." He uttered, gently pressing their cheeks, kissing just below her ear. He felt her shiver slightly.

"I know." Was her reply.

She delicately held the side of his face and pulled his face away, keeping their faces an inch or more apart, breathing in the same air.

"I love you." She said, their lips ghosting above the other, the sound of their breaths filling the small space, only allowing them to inch even closer.

"Tell me again."

"I love you."

"Again."

"I. Love. You. Anthony Bridgerton."

He smiled against her before finally connecting their lips together in for a long kiss. He held her by the hips and urged her closer, tilting his head to the side and kissing her with power.

Kate ran her hands to mess through his soft brown hair, ruffling it up and tugging at the ends, earning low grunts from her beloved.

Just as Anthony's tongue was about to push through her lips, she abruptly pulled away with a light push on his chest.

"Others are waiting downstairs for breakfast. We should head down." She said with between short of breath, lips swollen.

Anthony groaned, "Damn it." Which only made her chuckle.

She stroked her thumb over his light stubbles then leaned in to kiss him on his brow, then over his eyelids.

"Have the breakfast with everyone and then later, we can enjoy."

This made the man beam up with light and he smirked slyly, getting slapped on the arm from his wife in return.

"Alrighty, then let's get over with this breakfast as soon as possible."

Kate laughed.
