A anniversary

Kate's POV

Last night was pretty much hectic. Anthony and I have been too busy doing stuff, and Edmund was with his grandmother all night. After all it was our anniversary night. We deserved a little break.

I was mostly desperate, I was dying to be in his arms, to feel him, to have him close. It's been tempting watching him being pretty and attractive while he did his work or just even simply existed. So as soon as Emdund was off with grandma, I had slammed Anthony against our bedroom door and smashed our lips together.

He made a muffled noise and I knew I lost it.

We made love all night, then halfway through we were exhausted, so he just flopped on the side and we were giggling and chatting ourselves, reminiscing about our marriage, about the years we spent as a married couple. It felt good, too good actually, and I loved every second of it.

When the first sunrays hit the horizon, we were up and headed for the shower.

Anthony draped himself around me as we stood under the warm water. Our bodies clasped together, the weariness from the previous night washing away. We were relaxed.

"You're so beautiful." He said, kissing my shoulder. He had probably said that hundred times since last night. Each time, it sent goosebumps through my body.

I turned in his arms, linking my hands behind his neck, brushing our noses together.

"And you're so sexy," I responded with a kiss on the tip of his nose. "So sexy and so  hypnotizing. What do you to do me, Anthony Bridgerton?" Our foreheads rested together.

He smirked, pecking me on the lips then pulling me even closer.

"I do exactly what you do to me, Kate Bridgerton."

I smiled, this name always made me feel all the butteflies to flutter in my stomach.

"What are we doing today?" I asked after a few more shares of kisses.

"What about going for a full-day date. Then we can return before midnight. I'm sure mom can take care of Ed till then. And Colin, Eloise all are here too, so?"

I pondered for a moment, the idea of spending the whole day with my love was too inviting, I couldn't say no.

"Sounds perfect."

"Not as perfect as our wedding day though."

I laughed.

"Absolutely."

He connected our lips together and I hummed into it, loving the swell on them.

I loved this man so much.
